I think with the dragon ones if you would do a matte topcoat over just the black first then did all the detail and did glossy top coat on the detail it would look heckin awesome
First of all, these are just so cool and creative, like who thought of these?? So cool!! Second, you are just improving so much!! It’s been so cool to see you just get better and better with your art and just nails in general. For example, even though the baddie was haunting to my core, you actually did such a good job 😂😂😂 ✨ I love watching you grow 💕✨🧚🏻♀️ Love, Addison, Daniels wife
i wonder if you could use duochrome nail powders on the scale nails? like to give it dimension and color at the same time without adding too much polish/gel on top of the cool texture!
Resin and acrylic are in the same family 👯♀️ I’m an artist I love seeing what people 3D print also love resin art some artists will even make resin furniture 🪑 and I love nail art so this video is literally perfect for me 😭😭😭 Your videos are my favorite 💖
i think some mini figure painting techniques could be of use here. a lot of mini fig customizers will start with the darkest color and coat the entire model then go with a medium color using a method called dry brushing which just means using a light hand to get only the biggest details then the lightest color to get highlights.
sometimes i think something looks really good then emily is like “but this doesn’t look as good…” you’ve gotta give yourself more credit! all your work is amazing and i loved the matte dragon and especially the nude colored mermaid scales! 💗💗
I agree I loved loved the first dragon nail the eye looked so incredibly realistic. I agree with the other commenter just to do the matte blk first then go n with the shiny iridescent scales . The eye from my angle was flawless 😍. And the other set of nails where absolutely AMAZING 👏!!! GREAT JOB EMILY !!!
Just a fan girl note here, I've been watching your stuff on and off for several years (when my own interest in nail art started) But recently I've subscribed and have been watching a bunch of your older stuff too. I'm not into the long nails, but I do my own short ones. You are very inspiring and so down to earth. I can relate to many of your mental health struggles too. Just wanted to let you know you are loved by this granny in Texas!❤️
I was not expecting to laugh so hard at this video. I could not stop giggling when you made the skull into a baddie and I lost it when you green screened yourself into the dragon nail lol
Came here to say this lmao I was cackling like I was watching an old Jenna Marbles ratchet salon vid - idk how you don’t laugh at yourself lmao I wouldn’t have been able to keep it together! You’re a natural comedian!
something that might help would be watching videos of people who paint miniatures! I have painted some DnD themed minis and people who do them regularly have a lot of good tips for painting those rlly small details! I thinkthat maybe using an acrylic paint would help with pigmentation as well as help keep from losing detail because they arethinner while still being pigmented
I recently got a resin printer so I was so excited to see this video! Apparently the high strength resins absorb more water so that was probably the tradeoff here. For that I'm kind of surprised that they didn't just print a main set and just cast a bunch from that since resin printing takes so long, plus you can totally see the layer lines in some of the shots, especially for the skulls. Great video though, love the nails regardless!
Honestly, if I buy some of these, that's probably what I'm gonna do. Make a silicone mold, fill it in with hard gel or builder gel or even acrylic...you might even be able to make them a bit thinner that way. Definitely worth experimenting with!
The ones that aren't fully clear kinda look like they might be glow in the dark which would be cool with the dragon scales🤷🏻♀️ but the idea of these are pretty cool
I think that ones in your medallion set would be really cute as accent nails! You could totally make sets of regular tips to match each one of the different medallion nails, and then just have the one 3D printed nail in the set!
So I’m pretty sure this airbrush is similar to a makeup airbrush, the back of the airbrush that twist’s should define your spray which compacts the spray making it so can do more detail. Also you shouldn’t need to clean it between each colour if you just run through water it should clean it for you, it just may take a while as some colours are stubborn but the water should help. Loved the video!! Even though they didn’t hold up I think they looked amazing 💚
These are INCREDIBLE!!! What an awesome idea! I love the spikey ones! ETA ok I'm almost finished with the video...omg! The labor required for these nails! 😱 Thanks Emily for being a frigging trouper! These turned out so beautifully...each and every one!
i’m not done watching but these are so interesting. at first i thought the nails all had the same design on them but it’s so much better the way it is. i think a full set of a dragon’s eye would look kinda weird so i’m glad they managed to make them different while still keeping it cohesive. i would’ve never even thought of that and it’s great cause you can still be creative with the colors without having to create a while set yourself edit : i forgot to mention that you look gorgeous haha
Imagine the dragon nails with a reflexive chrome. I’m soo impressed with her work, & it’s truly inspiring for my nails every time I get them done. I love to watch your videos after a long day. Or when I’m going through something.
I LOVED these nails. The dragon really captured their scales and the "mermaid" ones that took a lot of work, were my favorite. If I ever saw those, I would buy them in a HEARTBEAT. Great job!! I envy your talent and creativity
This is BY FAR my favourite video of yours so far. Just your genuine reactions and responses, and chaotic creativity. I LOVE IT. Stay true, Emily. You’re the best!
I cant stop laughing at that Bratz skull nail. I've seen the skull nails in a full cover nail tips group im in and I wondered where she got them from. These are so cool and I know the possibilities are endless. Thanks for making me laugh on a Sunday night. You are so talented and fun to watch.
I love that you try new stuff and show us the learning curve with them. I really, really love your content and am always so excited when you post new videos (so i make like a little holiday of them - save watching them for a time when i can truly relax and sorta reward myself with your videos 😅). As always, thank you for the content 💅🏻💖
Emily's discussion with herself whether she should draw brows and lashes on the skull or not reminds me so much of the tiktok sound "am I attracted to this? No. Am I? No.....>_>" xD
You can use nail polish in an airbrush. You could also try Citadel paints. Videos on painting miniatures might also be helpful. I freaking LOVE them! I don't even wear nails and I'm tempted to get them for Halloween or something.
I feel like that first green set would've looked so cool!!! You could've used that as a based and added on top! I hope you do some more sets these were really fun
I love the fact that they are predestined but they should definitely also sell the products that allow you to paint and colour them with minimal effort. I was feeling impatient for you!!
I watched this video when it first came out. For some reason it was in my feed today and I watched it again...so fun! I love Emily's channel so much. During those days when I felt down, I'd come watch Emily do some nails...and the song Homless Soul playing filled my senses with the calm I get when I get lost watching Emily. It's such a beautiful escape for me and revisiting reminds me how much I appreciate Emily and her channel. She's really helped me get thru tough times in my life. 💖🌸
I have been doing my nails with poly gel for about 6 months so I watched a ton of videos and still do to learn things and you are the only one I’ve seen to warn me about the dust when filling. I actually learned about it when I first started watching you and I do nails so much safer now! Thank you!
Girl first of all airbrushing is super hard. I used them for makeup back in the day and it’s like it wanted me to fail lol. Then again you did great! One suggestion for the skulls would be maybe fill in the eye sockets with black? 💀 it gives them more of a skull-y kinda look.
I LOVE YOUR HAIR OMG 😍😍 I think it’s absolutely gorgeous with the blonde! These tips are definitely unique, I loved all the designs you did with them! Kinda strange that they bent upwards though O.o Love the chandelier you have though😳😍
These are so cool! I can see even just using one as an accent nail, since they're so expensive. I wonder how they would look if you painted the underside instead of on top? Can't wait to get some to play with!!
U are the sole reason I am obsessed with doing my nails. ALSO can u do a video of like why do tips over dual forms and when it’s best to use acrylic over poly gel or when it’s best to use hand file over drill. If u get what I mean. Like a this or that
A sewing magnifier with a light would probably be really helpful for detailed nails like this!! Love these looks Emily! Incredible as always and we obviously love to see you supporting small businesses 😉 I’m completely ENAMOURED by the lipstick you have on - would you consider sharing what it is? I neeeeed it! Lots of love! ❤️
I'm an engineering student and we 3D print resin. We always have to double glove and be very careful with the resin. I don't think high impact resin is safe for cosmetic use, but that may only be true for the uncured resin.
She's got an Airbrush and she knows how to use it!!!! You had me crying!! And with the eyebrows + lashes on the skulls.."give then an e-girl look"🤣🤣 I love your silliness!!
I love your videos! I feel like I haven’t seen you so much recently! I keep checking back for new videos haha. Love your channel! Much love from Chicago!
So the bubbles settling on the nails looks very much like the nails have a top coat or an oil based layer, I think if you used acetone or nail prep on them beforehand it would settle better?
I love your honest reviews. and how you show when you make mistakes and correct it. Its nice to feel like things dont always have to be perfect and nail art doesnt always go the way we plan it! Thank you for your content I love your videos ! And girl, your hair and makeup are flawless! Youre so pretty

I am always excited to see your post. You really inspired me to start recording how I do my nails. I haven't begun yet because I was busy and making sure that I have everything that I need but now that I have got most of it I am looking forward to recording. Not sure what I'll do with the video's but only time will tell.
You're look for this video gives me such strong early 2000s Bratz Doll vibes and I am so here for it. I'm not much of a nail person, and there is no way I would be able to have nails like that because of my job, but I kind of really want a set of those dragon nails based on the colours of my bearded dragon. She has all these pastel citrus tones as well as stripes of blue and I think that would look so cool translated to a set of nails.
Sooo I've probably watched about 20 of your videos in the past 2 days, and honestly couldn't make my mind up about you.... Until this video. The segment where you've basically been defeated by the skull set and do the makeup, THE NARRATION OF THAT! Sealed the deal for me! I'm subscribing, and I'm so excited cus I've literally watched all of Simplys videos, and Anacrylics shorts. You're def a different nail art channel with much different style than me, but what you do, you do it well and it's entertaining as hell. I never thought I would watch some chick go through hundreds of swatches of GLITTER AND CHARMS! LOL
First of all, you look AMAZEBALLS! I love your approach to trying new methods and styles. You are so talented and creative. Please keep doing what you're doing. We all love you and your content ❤
I so appreciate the time, research, money & effort that went into this set. It was so cool to see something I’ve never seen before and see you try different techniques. Thank you, as always!
Those look cool! I respect your patience - I couldn't have done that. Also, you are absolutely beautiful - even with no makeup and just your glasses on. 💕
I don't even know why I'm here watching these super long nail art videos...I'm not even doing my nails myself :D there is just something really relaxing about you being creative!
I remember you from yearssssss ago and I am such a tomboy and not girly at all but I really enjoy watching these videos. I think it’s the creativity that I like so much! I’m going through a really tough time at the moment and your videos are a welcome distraction so thank you 😊x
Dead!!! I haven’t laughed so hard as when you were contouring the skulls cheeks!! I friggin LOVE you for that!!! Thank you for the much needed laugh during my post-partum nightmare!!!! 🤣😂🤣😂❤️❤️
My doggos woke me up super early today so I'm watching this and trying not to laugh too loud and wake everyone else up.😂 Now I really need to see the skulls with some little doll lashes glued on!
This video was soo chaotic and fun! Definitely still waiting for you to make your own charms using cold porcelain maybe? The dragon scales I think would be diy'd with the plastic wrap method. This tips truly are very creative and innovative for something new in the nail industry and I'm glad I watched it from you
Love this and you so much. I love how I can catch up on what is going on new in the nail industry through you bc I work so much I get so behind! Thank you for being the refreshing reminder daily beautiful!!!
I think with the dragon ones if you would do a matte topcoat over just the black first then did all the detail and did glossy top coat on the detail it would look heckin awesome

What a very honest, sweet, message you gave... we all could use THIS kind of constructive feedback!!! Good job sweetie!!!
i wonder if you could use duochrome nail powders on the scale nails? like to give it dimension and color at the same time without adding too much polish/gel on top of the cool texture!
I was thinking the same
That would be totally Gorgeous. Especially with the Mermaid tips!!
That’s exactly what I was thinking
Resin and acrylic are in the same family 👯♀️
I’m an artist I love seeing what people 3D print also love resin art some artists will even make resin furniture 🪑 and I love nail art so this video is literally perfect for me 😭😭😭
Your videos are my favorite 💖
i love how she just ignored the spill😂 literally me avoiding my problems
Like Adam Sandler in big daddy covering everything with newspaper 🤣
That was me last night when I accidentally spilled some dip powder. I kept on going lol
Love it and same!!
Time stamp???

Can you recommend a good brand for gel or acrylic? And which type do you think is best for a beginner?
The Black dragon with the eyes, definitely my favorite one! Absolutely chef's kiss!!!
I was not expecting to laugh so hard at this video. I could not stop giggling when you made the skull into a baddie and I lost it when you green screened yourself into the dragon nail lol

Yup, this is DEFINITELY going to be the next big nail trend….and I’m here for it!
😱💖❤️
Kind of brings up the thought of like what will nails look like in 10 or even 20 years from now?😅

Wow! First of all your hair looks amazing!!!!
So excited, I'm gonna be doing my nails now so I'm excited! Thanks for uploading you have made a difficult day much better💜
Omg your hair and the vampy lips 😍😍😍 giving me life!! 🖤🖤

Bestie where did you get your top?? So cute!!😩
It's from a shop called shop3inthemorning. It sold out tho :( they may have other stuff you'd like tho
Emily's discussion with herself whether she should draw brows and lashes on the skull or not reminds me so much of the tiktok sound "am I attracted to this? No. Am I? No.....>_>" xD
"what have I created?" 😳
@26:46 I have no idea what’s going on but I’m living for every second of it 😩🤣
omg loving this 90's look on you 😍
honestly you doing the skull nail's makeup is the most charming and endearing thing I've ever seen???
You can use nail polish in an airbrush. You could also try Citadel paints. Videos on painting miniatures might also be helpful. I freaking LOVE them! I don't even wear nails and I'm tempted to get them for Halloween or something.
I feel like that first green set would've looked so cool!!! You could've used that as a based and added on top! I hope you do some more sets these were really fun

Omg I lost it when you put the pink over the white. Then when you said it didn't look pink...🤣🤣🤣 yeeeahhh. I'm so glad you can laugh at it too though.
Love love the blue nails you started with!
It’s Juvias place bronzed chestnut 🙂💖
I'm an engineering student and we 3D print resin. We always have to double glove and be very careful with the resin. I don't think high impact resin is safe for cosmetic use, but that may only be true for the uncured resin.
Its usually uncured and the process of curing resin on your skin that’s dangerous, but again I don’t know for sure
i love longer videos !! they bring me life 😮💨❤️
She's got an Airbrush and she knows how to use it!!!!

Omg you look so beautiful!! I literally gasped when the video started, that lip color really enhances your beauty!
THE MAKE UP AND HAR IN THIS VID IS EVERYTHINGGG
U ARE SO CUTE, like just the way u present and hold urself up 🥺 also I was eating subway while watching this and it felt like a picnic 🧺
your hair looks SOO good, it's so cute wow
So excited for this video! 💙💙 I’ve personally never seen anyone try this before.
I love the hair! It’s so pretty. You are gorgeous
I love these videos that are like experimental just cause you can see the process leading up to the final product. Great video :) 👍🏽
OMG! Those are super cool. I really like the right hand the most (obviously 😅). You make me wanna record myself doing nails too 🤩
the ash blonde/grey and brown hair is such a combo I’m obsessed
OFF TOPIC BUT I LOVE YOUR HAIR AND MAKEUP TODAY OMG
Thank you 🥰
Your editing in this video is hilarious 💀💀💀 the green screen nail 🤣 I love your videos!!
Just saying you look so cool in this video. Love the hair with the lips and you just look like a badass character in a show or something
I love your honest reviews. and how you show when you make mistakes and correct it. Its nice to feel like things dont always have to be perfect and nail art doesnt always go the way we plan it! Thank you for your content I love your videos ! And girl, your hair and makeup are flawless! Youre so pretty
Resin printing is more precise and has an overall cleaner look. Resin 3D printing acts similar to gel curing. Each layer of these nails, from the free edge to close to the cuticle area is cured with UV light. The layers are essentially flashed cured, kinda like putting on soft gel tips. Then when it’s done, some people just UV cure just a little bit longer. The high impact part just has to do with the kind of resin itself. This particular resin is used for printing stuff that is going to take a lot of beatings. I’m excited about these.
That’s interesting ty!!
also this dark makeup is everything I love it
I'm loving the dark look ! Your hair your makeup! So pretty.
Sooo much work but they look awesome! Love your videos.
I am always excited to see your post. You really inspired me to start recording how I do my nails. I haven't begun yet because I was busy and making sure that I have everything that I need but now that I have got most of it I am looking forward to recording. Not sure what I'll do with the video's but only time will tell.
I’m sure they’ll be great!! I wish you success with your videos 🥰
@@EmilySusanah thank you so much 🤗
ok but why aren't yall screaming about this hair, I'm OBSESSED 💖
You're look for this video gives me such strong early 2000s Bratz Doll vibes and I am so here for it. I'm not much of a nail person, and there is no way I would be able to have nails like that because of my job, but I kind of really want a set of those dragon nails based on the colours of my bearded dragon. She has all these pastel citrus tones as well as stripes of blue and I think that would look so cool translated to a set of nails.
Awww that would be so cute to do a set that matches her
Sooo I've probably watched about 20 of your videos in the past 2 days, and honestly couldn't make my mind up about you....
Thank you sm 🥺💖
Emily literally glows, shes so happy and that puts me in such a good mood....ur also so funny🤣
Love the new hair looks great on you
Your hair is so beautiful like this, suits you so much hun! The makeup goes perfectly 🤯
27:46 - Way to go! Now if you ever wear these nails out, you’ll always have a tiny set of terrifying Kim Ks. following you everywhere!!! 🤣💖
🤣
Loooove the airbrushing!! They’re super cute!!
I don't even know why I'm here watching these super long nail art videos...I'm not even doing my nails myself :D there is just something really relaxing about you being creative!
so excited to see this!!! love you girl 😊😊
The green screen joke with your face on the nail was very funny, still laughing😂
the "it's the fluorescents" meme killed me lmaooo I love these long videos you do :)
This video was a joy to watch. When she started beating the skull's mug...i live!
I’m late! So happy another video is coming out from you, I’m in my last week of the quarter this is perfect timing 💓
Really cool product and also your makeup looks absolutely gorgeous! Not that you ever look not great, but that dark lip ... whoa gorg!
I remember you from yearssssss ago and I am such a tomboy and not girly at all but I really enjoy watching these videos. I think it’s the creativity that I like so much! I’m going through a really tough time at the moment and your videos are a welcome distraction so thank you 😊x
These nails are so cool. I also love your hair and makeup ❤️
You look gorgeous when you popped in while editing. So beautiful
The new hair! With the makeup giving me 90s grunge i love it
This video was soo chaotic and fun! Definitely still waiting for you to make your own charms using cold porcelain maybe? The dragon scales I think would be diy'd with the plastic wrap method. This tips truly are very creative and innovative for something new in the nail industry and I'm glad I watched it from you
Firstly these were soooo cute especially the mermaid ones. And I reeeeeeeally loved the first dragon you did. It looked so good to me ❤️❤️❤️
