I still prefer that classic Miss. Universe crown that was last crowned to Miss. Universe 2001 simply because the design is the symbol of a Miss.Universe ( a woman standing above the sun in the middle of the solar system ).
My favorites are definitely the Chandelier and Mikimoto. If they can find a way to combine those two crowns together, will be the most amazing crown ever created. The Diamond Nexus wasn't a bad idea. However, the circles on the crown completely gave me alien out of space vibes. I absolutely did not like the DIC crown, because it looked like metal put together with a few gems. Had they given it some more sparkle and put a striking symbol on the top - it would be a winner. There's a reason why they completely went back to Mikimoto after 3 years. Oh, how can I forget that monstrosity of a crown from 2008. It looked as if the organization went to the nearest Party City store to pick out that crown. I guess the crown was symbolic of the economic crash in the U.S. at that time. I think the Mikimoto crown could be developed even more, because it looks slightly unfinished. Here's what I think should happen: Miss Teen USA - Diamond Nexus Miss USA - Mikimoto Miss Universe - The Chandelier with Mikimoto pearls added. That would be a fabulous way to keep those three crowns (also the most popular) in production.
As per my choice Miss Universe crown which they call chandelier symbolises the real Miss universe represent a perfect women . Wish they bring back it.. is so far the best.
The one worn by Gloria and Margie is the best for me. There is something in the crown that once the winner gets to wear she becomes queenly. The other crowns I guess are not fit for a winner. They become ordinary crowns to look at compared to the one worn by many winners.
The D.I.C. crown is the best. But of course all the ladies and all the crowns that have been worn by now are indeed the best. All the best to next miss universes and hope India brings the title back home soon. 🤞
