Since 3H, it's been revealed that Monica posses the Crest of Macuil, and I'd say the Upright side fits her pretty well, while the Reversed side could fit Kronya
Why am I only finding this now??? Interestingly, the Church actually legitimised Faerghus splitting from the Empire. Manuela also notes how auspicious it seems that the seat of the Church's power is slapped right in the middle of the continent. Obviously El has a bias but I can see where it came from. Also CF monastery dialogue reveals she invited scholars to study the Church's records so I'm willing to believe she wants to learn the truth. That aside, I'm glad somebody is talking about the Tarot theory, it never got much mainstream attention I think. Very nuanced takes, great video to listen to ♥
It's also rare to see someone talking about the parallels between Edie and Rhea. They are both similar in the sense that they are ideologically driven.
I've been hoping someone would make a Tarot card video about the 3H crest system. Very eager to watch this video and I'm glad it found it's way into my recommendation. Edit: after watching, I was impressed by your analysis of Rhea and Edelgard. I'm hoping to see more with the rest of the crests/Arcana in the future if you continue the series.
This was a very illuminating video. It's cool to see the parallels between Rhea and Edelgard through the tarot. I think it's also helped me better understand my feelings towards both characters. Looking forward to the next episode!
Very insteresting video and I have to give you pros to have the guts to tackle to two most problematic characters of the game. For 23:45 the only thing I can think is that is never said or refer that Edelgard had a short life spam like Lysthea, we can suppose that, but I dont remember any evidence in dialogue.
Edelgard and Lysithea's paired ending talks about them being healed and "regaining the years that had been stolen from them" but as far as I recall this is the only reference.
What is up with the audio in this video? The ducking for the background music really threw me off by how much it jumped up and down when you weren't talking or even WHILST you were talking. I appreciate the analysis tho, so thanks!

It is VERY rare to find someone, let alone a video that understands rhea on a deeper level. Great stuff. I love the tarot themes in fe3h.

After playing Scarlet Blaze in Three Hopes, I think Monica definitely fits her arcana along with Saint Macuil as well
