  • Like the Flieswatters 7" this is largely of interest to me as the only other punk record to ever come out of Woodland Ca., that I know of. However this is significantly better than the Flieswatters release. There's a spikey logo. There's some anarchy and equality symbols on it. You know what it is: some 90s American crust. For the most part, I would compare this to bands like Nausea and Filth with a couple of sludgier tracks in the mix. I used to know the year this came out, but I don't remember and it's not mentioned on the record or it's Discogs page. I believe it came out somewhere between 1998 and 2000. Members of this band went on to form Planetary Ruin, who played a similar style of crust around the Sacramento area.
When I was in high school, the Planetary Ruins folks were the only other punks I knew of in Woodland, besides my bandmates, and the only older punks I had to look up to in my hometown. They definitely helped influence my shift away from street punk and towards crust and other heavier types of punk.
    RIP Keith

Hell yea dude. I know Evan. I grew up in woodland as a teenage punk in the 90s. Seen them a few times and chilled in his garage during band practices.. This record rips. RIP Keith
