- In this video i show you how to get very strong within the first 15 minutes into the game. I show you how to get a weapon that provides you with enough damage for a full playthrough. At the end i prove this while i show the the maximum damage the Black Knight Halberd does with my stat-points.

This guy is literally fluent in English. He's got an accent, like everyone, and naturally he has subtle verbal idiosyncrasies that come with English not being his first language, but he is 100% coherent and comfortable in speaking English off the top of his head. People who have never even tried learning a second language don't realize how difficult it is to master other languages you weren't raised on since infancy, and thus can't appreciate how great this guy's English really is. If you took Spanish or French in high school and thought you sounded better in the other language than this man does in English, you're dead wrong-you probably sounded far worse. Thanks for the video, by the way. Ignore those idiots, your English is great.

The taurus demon is a bit of a overblown example since black knight weapons do greatly increased damage to demons, you can also oneshot capra this way if you manage to land a plunging attack or two shot it with regular moves

Once you have the BKH that dragon becomes one shottable

How to get overpowered in six minutes:
1: Start the game with a character with good strength and dexteriy
2: Exit the Asylum
3: Into the Catacombs
4: Past the Titanite Demon
5: Into a secret coffin that'll transport you to Nito's tomb
6: Join Gravelord Covenant and get the Gravelord sword, which deals very high damage for very low stat requirements, and the Gravelord Sword Dance Miracle, which has no stat requirements at all and is useful for crowd control.
7: Demolish everything in your path.
Won't get you quite the same results you see in this video but it's one of the best strategies out there for no-glitch speedruns.
Or shop gravelord soul and get great scythe, then do a rush over to blight for 1 large titanite shard and 3 large souls of something (gives 3k souls each) then get souls from start area and skip the Taurus demon with a path getting more souls. That's what I do and get around 14k souls and a setup for a char. Most of the time I skip catacombs though, screw that...
MCgameX Honestly the Catacombs are a cakewalk if you have heavy armor and a decent shield. Unless you go there early in the game, which absolutely no sane person would ever do.
+ManiaMac1613 haha I thought you meant early game right outa the asylum. Annoying as hell and takes many try's just to get the rest scythe. Gravelord sword is way out of reach for me xd
MCgameX Really? I'm a Souls noob and it only took me two or three tries to get the Gravelord Sword right after the Asylum. Besides, I personally hate the Great Scythe. Maybe it just doesn't compliment my playstyle, but I've only ever found it to be really effective against slow-moving bosses like the Gaping Dragon or Seath, which I could probably kill with a broken straight sword anyway.
+ManiaMac1613 lol if you got gravelord sword after asylum, your good at the game. And the scythes r2 is the best because it launches you at the boss which is op+ weapons like Richards can hit like 6 times

The Halberd isn't Always gonna spawn it's all based on item discovery stats.So for safe measure before killing the Black Knight have humanity and use 1.It majorly increases item discovery.

First time i got lucky and unlucky, i dropped down from a cliff and he went with me but i didn't get weapon, second time I got very lucky he did some wombo combo and die jumped for me from a cliff.

I love this video. First time, it took me 5 tries to get it. On the 5th try, the black knight actually knocked *me* off the cliff, but he came falling down with me! So as I was dying, I see this message pop up with the items i received for my victory over-layed on top of "You Died", lol! Anyway, thanks for making this video. And your English is really good. I like the video, and it's a good strategy. Sadly it's luck based as you said. No Black Knight Weapons are guaranteed drops.
Drake Sword strategy is the most conventional, but the drawback, and it's a pretty big one, is that it's pretty obsolete before you get 1/3 of the way through.
My recommendation for becoming OP early is to try this strat first, but if the Black Knight fails to drop the Halbred, don't give up and restart.
Just equip a shield, head to the catacombs to grab the Gravelord Sword. You get it for simply joining the Gravelord Covenant, it does a ton of damage, and is relevant for nearly all the game.
Getting it is kind of a pain and requires a bit of nimble fingers, but it can be gotten the moment you land in Firelink, without picking the Master Key (though why you'd pick anything else I don't know. I've done it 20 minutes.
There are videos on how to get it posted (an explanation requires a level of detail I'm not willing type on my phone).
So to summarize, for those who want to be OP early, but don't want to have to keep restarting the game as a new character because they aren't lucky enough to get a Black Knight Weapon, try for the Halbred first, if it doesn't drop, then head to the catacombs and make for the Gravelord Sword.

Any other form of magic besides crystal magic weapon is gay the game becomes to easy and it just isn't fun
@@frosticstyle5272 I would say that early game (up to O&S) isnt that easy. Depending on if you can be bothered back tracking. I couldnt be bothered going back to Firelink to get better spells from Logan when i saved him in Sen's so O&S wasnt too easy with regular soul arrow. But yeah after that its easy and not that fun. Same if you use Black Knight Halberd.
Odd im a heavy armored knight with all the black knight weapons and shield and i use miracles and magic. Oh and i have bows and carry throwing knifes firebombs dung pies and shit at max capacity. Souls are of little concern.
Ive got a great soul farm.
50k in like 10 minutes. Using a stock claymore quicker with better wep such as a bk halberd maxed out. 1 hit kills fpr days beeech
This is great if you can get the drop. It took me 10 tries to get the BKH. The other issue is the BKH is so heavy, and to one hand it, you have to level up so high, that you wind up being in the SL 45+ range which means you will miss co-op opportunities as a white phantom at the early bosses. Best co-op SL I've found on new game are 18 for bell tower, 22 for Capra, 30 for Queelog, 40 for Anor Londo.

Had a really hard time dealing with the Black Knight, I just couldn't back stab him off the cliff. However, I noticed he doesn't follow you inside the cave. So, by waiting for him to attack near the cave entrance/exit, dodging towards the cave, and with the help of the Drake Sword and a few Firebombs, beating him was fairly easy.
For those that don't know, you get the Drake Sword from shooting off the tail of the Hellkite Dragon or Red Dragon at the bridge Wyvern. Just go under the bridge (there are stairs to the right halfway thru the bridge), kill the two hollows that camp there, equip bow and arrows, and shoot the tail 15-20 times.
For those who want to back stab the Black Knight, you won't back stab if you're still blocking. After the Black Knight hits or misses, release L1 and move behind him and press R1 a couple times. Once you get the hang of back stabbing the Black Knight, you'll see the biggest issue is getting him lined up to go over the cliff.
If you stand in a certain spot and the Black Knight is on the top of the lowest incline, you can make him just fall off if you block his spinning attack. :P
the knight just drops the halberd if he falls down the cliffs
You can also pick up Zweihänder with a deprived character. His club will get you through the skeletons and after that youll have enough souls to level up.

Simple question there, if you dont get the hallberd after he died, that mean you have to create another game, cuz the mob dont respawn right ? i tryed and he didnt respawned after a rest at the bondfire so .. you create a new character and try until you got it N?

Warrior is a better class to start with for a BKH run.
They will both be level 18 to meet the minimum requirements for the BKH. which is 22 str, and 18 dex to 2 hand it.
The only difference between them is stats is the hunter has 9 att, and 11 endurance, while the warrior has 8att and 12 endurance
the one point more in attunment is useless, doesn't help you in anyway.
But the warriors higher endurance is useful, more stamina, more bleed res, and more equip load over the hunter.
True but the bonus to being the hunter is that you get a bow early. for speedrunning this helps alot and shaves time starting with it.
True I guess. The long bow is above the BKH, but you have to drop down onto the ledge to get it and the hunter set. then you have to run back up. for a speed run hunter is better.
warrior is still better for just a normal run through, as you can just grab the longbow.

would like to mention that the key for that door is in blight town so of you run into blight town from that bridge it is in the chest next to the ladders in the corner so you would have to come from the other side. not trying to be mean or anything but there is a key for the door

Ouhgooott. Ich bin am verzweifeln. Bereits Zehn neue Charaktere gemacht.
Die ersten vier versuche reibungslos, an den Drachen 'vorbeigeninjat', den Ritter runter gestoßen oder eine ebene höher gelockt um ihn wieder und wieder zu backstabben und die ersten vier male nur das dunkle Schild bekommen. die nächsten drei versuche, leicht angenervt, los gerannt und wie du gesagt hast hat mich der erste blaue Drache beim drehen rumgezogen und mich runtergestürzt und das grüne Lichtchen mit den verlorenen Seelen lag direkt unter dem Drachen, also nicht mehr so gut zu erreichen ohne zu sterben. die letzten drei versuche habe ich die Menschlichkeit erst beim Bonfire vor dem Ritter genommen, also vier Menschlichkeit insgesammt. In den letzten drei versuchen habe ich zwei mal nur diesen brocken bekommen und einmal das Schild. Das Tutorial hat mich schon einmal beigebracht wie ich das Asylum rushe aber der Ehrenwerte Schwarze Ritter von Leckmichfett dropt immer nur das Schild und das Steinteil oder nur das Steinding. Irgendjemand ein paar Ideen wie man die Möglichkeit erhöht das ding zu bekommen oder soll ich es einfach weiter und weiter versuchen? :D
Has to be my favourite Overpowered in X minutes. Easy to do, strong weapon, has bonfires so you do not have to backtrack too often.

Hmmm.... the backstab part was tricky..... but there is a more or less deadly solution. Stand Close to the edge.... the guy does a Charge.... and voila... i got the two items he has with him... the weapon and the Stone Thing...... but it is strange.... did you still get loot even when you official die first????
Got in on the second try! I only used the humanity from beating that first boss at the prison.
After killing the butterfly its pretty easy to get to 32/18 for the 1hand use of the halberd. Just use the bosssoul+estus combo.
I think the Moonlight Butterfly would've made a better clearable obstacle fight, like the boar and undead dragon, for example

To those people who said (I did everything you said, but he is not dropping it) Right when you push him, reload the game and you should have it. If not do it again, i did it with three characters yesterday. And yes, i does not work sometimes if you just push him off the cliff without, but i did it once some time ago when i did not know about this. Here you go :3
when i fought black Knight me fell off cliff so does the black Knight than i don't get anything??
I am playing on PS3 and playing offline with no patches. I was able to get it after about 10 runs but I had to kill the knight and not let him call off the cliff in order to get any items from him. Falling off the cliff never got me any items.

Why the hell do i only get titanite chunk when i kill the black knight? I've killed him like 6 times now and i even killed him without letting him fall from the cliff! :(

Interesting note, if you proceed to follow this video after the Black Knight, you eventually will reach a bonfire near a blacksmith. Head upstairs from the bonfire and you will be in a cathedral ruin. Exit the front of the cathedral via a walkway with a line of columns on both sides. This walkway takes you to the Undead Parish area. Run into the new cathedral and continue straight, you'll see two elevators. The one on the right is open, enter it and take it down to Firelink Shrine!
In case anyone has considered grabbing the Crest shield upon visiting the asylum a second time before visiting the butterfly, I tried it and failed. Hollow Oscar is OP and regenerates health without the need of a flask.

Even though this video is ancient, I want to let people know that Witch Beatrice seems to be nerfed. At least my version got killed by the same enemy that she killed with one hit in this video. She did get some shots off, however, and none of them were lethal to this thing.

it's a random chance for him to drop it, having humanity increase the chance for him to drop it (tip : have atlist one humanity increased by much the drop rate)

There have been other videos suggesting to get OP by getting the fire scythe, but this video shows the easiest way to get OP without much risk. Had to try a few times though, but genuinely the halberd broke the game. Thanks!

It's not the character, it's the amount of humanities that increase the rate of the drop. I got it with 5 or 6 humanities while hollow.
