His Microcore supplement is absolute trash tho it’s literally like throwing your money away. Any supplement with magnesium citrate might as well be a constipation medicine since it’ll just make you poop like crazy, and not be absorbed at all, the rest of the vitamins are also from the cheapest ingredients that don’t absorb the best, and since the magnesium citrate makes you go to the bathroom it makes you lose electrolytes which is not great for performance.
@@GearlessJoe0 I said it once and I’ll say it again, the one vitamin that is worth supplementing and has a strong evidence base for it is Vitamin D. The rest should be able to be acquired via diet.

Try swimming, I used to swim competitively and got back into it again 1.5 yes ago and my rear delts have exploded from only swimming and other row variations.
Face pulls have a lot limitibg factors, first one is that tge weight pulling away from you, that's good for rear delt's but it can be chalanging to hold the weight, for exemple if you use 75% of your weight in this exercise it will be hard to hold the weight and dont move forward

As a medical student, it makes me glad people like Sean exist. (Edit) why are people in the comments so butt hurt that I made it further than them in life. Me being a medical student is relevant because I’m trying to infer that most of what Sean says lines up with the medical literature I have read. Anyone with basic intuition will understand that.
I've let myself go over the years and just started actually lifting again this past year. Love to see these iso workouts brother. Keep feeding us the good content.
always good to remember that if you see someone enormous doing an exercise that looks weird or doing an exercise with weird form there’s always a chance they are an athlete or similar doing sport specific work and not necessarily training for hypertrophy
The advice on using dumbbells is top tier but i can see most people turning it into a kick back instead. The barbell helps keep the elbows locked and the arms straight.
When I learned the straight bar version, we called them the shank lever exercise. We used them for deadlift accessory work to help lock in all of the upper back musculature at the start of the pull. The dumbbell version does hit the rear delts better if you angle out as shown. If you keep the arms close to the body, it tends to hit the long head of the triceps as well. This is probably not what you want out of this movement though.
Absolutely outstanding video! It’s highly informative and super helpful. Thank you so much for sharing all the amazing work! It’s highly appreciated. 🙌
Bonus tip: the dumbbell variant can be made a drop set be bending your elbows after failure with the same weights. Brutal finisher, and delts receiver quickly, so there's little downside to forced extra reps.

Kickbacks but for your Rear Delts and gravity is not much of a factor this time.

Almost too much. Rear delts are already activated in rowing exercises, just like abs are acitivated in pull ups. Why isolate them?
