My headcanon towards Hakeem is that both versions are right, he was a great warrior that confronted Cain for turning the king and queen into blood thirsty monsters and hunted vampires but he also didn't hunt just any vampires. He hunted those that caused trouble and destroyed human lives those that DESERVED to be punished and eliminated. A Gangrel that don't attack unprovoked and generally don't eat humans, only animal blood, would have not been hunted by him as they didn't deserve it while a lasombra that enjoyed toying with humans and provoke wars would be first priority. That even explains the clan's bane/curse
Yeah that is possible but i tend to believe that Haqim was actually loyal to Caine and his Vampire elders ( Enoch and Zillah ) because if the whole "Hakeem was a noble Vampire who despised evil and saw that the rulers of the first city were evil and therefore decided to kill them" story is true, there is no way that Caine would forgive him for murdering his first Vampire son ( Enoch ) and his wife ( Zillah ). I doubt that Caine would just curse him as punishment for such a crime, he would straight out slaughter Haqim in this scenario. Also the fact that Haqim's followers who follow the "path of blood" claim that Haqim fought Caine 1v1 after murdering Caine's childer, is simply not very believable. Haqim would still be a relatively young Vampire at this point ( doesn't matter that he was 3rd generation the age gap and power gap between him and Caine would still be immense ) and Haqim would probably know that he would stand no chance against the most powerful Vampire in existence, especially if he really did just kill that vampire's Childer which would mean that Caine would be beyond furious. And his followers have the balls to claim that even though Caine won that fight, Haqim somehow survived and Caine, the oldest, most powerful and most experienced Vampire in existence somehow missed the fact that Haqim was still alive... just doesn't make sense to me. But hey this is just my personal opinion who knows, maybe it really did go down that way, only the Dark Father knows the truth of these matters.
@@MrDarkkamui The two vampires he killed are the queen and king of en'esh, not Enoch or Zillah. Enoch would be the biological son of the king and queen and turned shortly after them. Caine took the young prince with him after defeating Haqim. Zillahs embrace happend many years later. And Caine didnt miss anything. He choose to spare him. Interesting, I wonder if the second and third generation of vampires are a true third generation or if it was a difference between the thinking of these two groups. I also have to wonder if with each generation of vampire they grow weaker, as the blood gets diluted. This also makes me wonder how terrifying Cain must be: if his grand children were akin to gods that could bring down entire civilizations. The terror this dark father could bring about makes me shudder. The world would likely be turned inside out should he finally return to this world
@@lazarofstygia2241 Especially considering the fact it seems quite heavily implied that the Antediluvians hold only a small portion of the power of their father
They do become weaker with each generation, and vampires of 14th or 15th generation (thin bloods) can't embrace childer. It's something of a baseline, as they become more powerful with age, and it's entirely possible to lower one's generation.
It's theorized that cain had a hand in the whole thinning blood thing when he made the clan curses, and kindred blood does thicken over time (remember 13th was a thin blood generation). Also the 3rd think their god, but remember Cain can do anything they can do, permantly alter their blood at will, and due to the mark of Cain is actually immortal. If you think about he is a god, the dark god of the kindred.
The different ranks are represented by different chess pieces with fledgling being the pawn, elder being the bishop and antediluvians being the kings. But many people forget that Chess pieces are meaningless without the hand that moves each into position. Who else but the Dark Father, who else but Caine would have the power and influence to move even the dreaded 3rd generation like pieces on a board.

I’m not sure if antediluvians are just lazy or if at a certain point it becomes more difficult for them to remain out of torpor. I want to believe its the former as that would be quite funny.
It is lul. They basically get bored with it, and just fall into it. Also if you sire childer, eventually mortal blood does not slake the thrist, and you must feed on other Kindred.
They’re just old and catabolic! They need to drink some bodybuilder blood and get ANABOLIC. Also, they need to sleep like (very, very, very) old people. Cut em some slack, they just need a vampiric version of More Plates More Dates.
Cheers my friend for your video, but I think that for the tzimisce clan you didn't speak about old clan tzimisce and the lore of the soul eaters that make vicissitude a discipline and about true brujah. AGAIN IT'S REALLY REALLY GREAT VIDEO!!!!!
The antediluvians were before the race was diluted with Humans afterward. They were twice the vampires that they are now. But I'm talking about how this game relates to modern-day royals.
For the Vetrue Antediluvian, whom I often shorthand to Vedathah, I like the idea of them as the "CEO" of the Ventrue. They don't get their hands dirty dealing with even Kindred affairs. Why would they? They have people for that.
So Clan Nosferatu could actually break their curse with ease if they only stop being so hateful and evil from the inside? Since it seems that the curse was about to make them appear as they are from the inside.
It depends on what you consider to be evil. If you mean 'existential threat to humanity' then no, there are at least a few antes who are either indifferent to mortals or favorably disposed to them.
@@blackshade1840 There are some Methuselah that have 10 Humanity, Menele for example. Among the Ante's that didn't have childer (around 9-17 depending on source) there is probably one that is a good person even by our contemporary standards.

It's your game to run how you'd like but I'd shy away from that. They have things they fear, it's just never the player characters. And they have things they still think they need or else why not sleep forever or face the sunrise?
If the Lilith-Ennoia story is true, isn't she on of the most powerful beings on Earth even more than the antediluvians? Cause I mean... she'd be kind of 1st generation???? I don't know.
Well the abrahamic religions are originated in the semitic culture, and the Babylonians were semites. Lilith was a babylonian goddess and in the abrahmaic lore she was the original woman and wife of adam, and she was created before Eve (Caine's mother) So yeah she would be pretty powerful

Any thoughts? Montano (Lasombra's 2nd in command) claimed to have some gaps in his memories of the Anarch attack on the castle of shadows, gaps that are similar to using Dominate. He also knows that Dominate only works on Vampires of higher generation and he is 4th generation which means that only an Antediluvian could use that power on him.
Gehenna book reveals there were 22. But those 9 either made no childer, or very VERY few to keep them company. They followed Caine's decree to not sire childer broods to gain power. Basically Caine was against the Jyhad before it was cool. In fact, the Brujah Ante, Ilyes, wanted to follow it until Trolie, and in one of the scenario's is committed to clearing out the whole clan before Caine finds out (which he does already, he just doesn't care).
All antediluvians beg to be embraced, Haqim FORCE his former beloved king and queen to be their child et after killing them. All antediluvians fear Caine Haqim took toe to toe against Caine ALONE without fear without pack up . Thus earn Caine respected but also curse .
Your average vampire fast destroyed by the average werewolf. Older and more powerful vampires it's a different story, a large top tier garou pack fought a Ventrue methusal and lost (they had numbers, the advantage of surprise, and were dangerous as individuals). He killed them all, but that say night was diableriezed by sabbat pack (he did possess his diablerist though). Vampires are also way more powerful in social situations (and that's all of them compared to garou), they also can increase their numbers way easier then garou (they just choose not to). So the average vampire is weaker than the average garou, in non social encounters, but vampires have a much higher power ceiling and have numbers. Overall it averages out (one of the reasons they don't go out of their way to fight each other).

I know next-to-nothing about VtM lore, but this is going to always be my headcanon (for as long as I remember it), lol
This was a very good lore video, keep up the good work!
do you plan on making more VtM videos? If so, what might we expect in the near future? u make great content btw please keep it up
Yes. More VTM coming.
@@lazarofstygia2241 nice. if i may be so bold to ask, what will it be on? a clan top 10, a list of people, or a group of vampires
Awesome been waiting for this!!!
Thank you sooo sooo much for this!
I have to prepare myself to deal with Dirty Secrets of the Black Hand material.
@@lazarofstygia2241 Good luck with that shadowy booklet may you excel and tells the greatest of stories

Never ever! ECER!! Expect this to be POSSIBLE!!!!
a thank you king!!!!!!
You are the best!!
The very very storyteller!!
You're welcome, skeleton king!
Thank you for upload :)
The antediluvians were before the race was diluted with Humans afterward. They were twice the vampires that they are now. But I'm talking about how this game relates to modern-day royals.
Fabulous!!!
For me the Lasombra anti always was Dagon, from the cthulu mythos.
Big fishy vampire god. Sounds interesting.
@@lazarofstygia2241 Darkness, Sea, Religion... you can see the pattern.
For the Vetrue Antediluvian, whom I often shorthand to Vedathah, I like the idea of them as the "CEO" of the Ventrue. They don't get their hands dirty dealing with even Kindred affairs. Why would they? They have people for that.
My favorite antidilluvian is Lazarus the recently awoken Cappadocian
The antediluvians are basically the Pillar men from JJBA looking at their power
So Clan Nosferatu could actually break their curse with ease if they only stop being so hateful and evil from the inside? Since it seems that the curse was about to make them appear as they are from the inside.
The curse is their Antediluvian's. And he has no intention of letting up on anyone, especially his own Clan.
Dude rude. Besides your Toreadors could use that curse more that we do
No, Caine cursed them all. According to a legend, only one Nosferatu was spared and remained beautiful but that could be a Niktuku trap
Mistake: Tzimisce started with Koldun, then gained Vicissitude from Kupala. Hense Koldunists being "Old Clan Tzimisce"
This distinction... makes the Tzimisce the BEST for me (well.. second to the Nagaraja)
Know this was two years ago, and I don't remember if I asked on another video or something like that, but any clans to cover the apostates?
*ahem*
Prince Baali! Marvelous he!
Baali Methuselah!
Are all antediluvians evil? I suspect the Toreador one isn't.
It depends on what you consider to be evil. If you mean 'existential threat to humanity' then no, there are at least a few antes who are either indifferent to mortals or favorably disposed to them.
Nah, there are plenty of antediluvians who didn't have any childer. Salubri and Ilyes are ones with childer that could be argued to be good guys.
maybe not originaly but after 10,000 years, they would all be considered evil by human standards
@@blackshade1840 There are some Methuselah that have 10 Humanity, Menele for example. Among the Ante's that didn't have childer (around 9-17 depending on source) there is probably one that is a good person even by our contemporary standards.
@@blackshade1840 it fits into the trope “Orange & Blue Morality”… they probably lack morals or ethics from a human perspective; but have inscrutable, but internally consistent, goals.
Age kinda wears down mortals, IRL, imagine living for hundreds of years… quite hellish imho
I officially consider you the Luetin09 of World of Darkness.
40k loremasters are full of sh1t though
Actually the word diluvio means heavy rainfall, not flood.
Dude what is the background music its sooo ambient and dark.
no idea how I found this but it is kinda cool.
What is the name of the song?

Lazzzaaaaaaarrrrrrrr offfff Stygiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
In my opinion to the Antediluvians are extremely powerful, god-like and indestructible. Rivaling to Count Dracula and Akasha Bloodriver (Moka's mother from Rosario + Vampire anime and manga series). I say they're all number one. The most deadliest vampires in the VTA and vampire history too.
It's your game to run how you'd like but I'd shy away from that. They have things they fear, it's just never the player characters. And they have things they still think they need or else why not sleep forever or face the sunrise?
what you on about louie? :)
Liked, Subscribed and fell over laughing at 1:00
💕💕💕Great video love It 💞💕💕💕
If the Lilith-Ennoia story is true, isn't she on of the most powerful beings on Earth even more than the antediluvians? Cause I mean... she'd be kind of 1st generation???? I don't know.
She would be a human of whatever description Adam and Lillith were prior to Original Sin and Lillith sexing angels/God/demons.
I think she is a Mage, an awaken one
Well the abrahamic religions are originated in the semitic culture, and the Babylonians were semites. Lilith was a babylonian goddess and in the abrahmaic lore she was the original woman and wife of adam, and she was created before Eve (Caine's mother)
So yeah she would be pretty powerful
You mean 2nd at most
Interesting Haqim being last seen with mitras who got DB'd by a banu Haqim later on.... and seems to inhabit his would be murderer.. could be a nice hook for plans within plans and secrets within secrets I might use. for my own setting
Is it cannon ? I mean there’s suction what is said “”Through the survival of Fatima al-Faqadi after encountering Haqim””in Haqim in Wikipedia,
And in Gehenna book it’s says same thing when Fatima al-Faqadi said “”Thank you, Grandfather Haqim,”” before leaving, which may lead that Haqim is still active in these modern nights?
Any thoughts?
So sorry it took me long to write this, also they’re terrifying , your video of the antediluvian are more terrifying as ever, which gives it the final hints and cruel reminder to any vampire ever know of their existence, that, “they’re coming, they’re coming”
The First And Forsaken Lion demands Mortal Kombat!

Who are the antediluvians in this image meant to be? I know that the mass of children is meant to be malkav and I assume the shadow guy is lasombra but who are the others?
Are you gonna make a video about most influental methuselhas?
Subbed!
Thanks!
Samiel didn't die at the hands of Tzimisce. He died at the end of the Second Baali War due to the actions of Ahab.
Did he?
@@josephbeckett2330 Sadly, yes. A Baali Antidiluvian, Moloch if memory serves, diablerized him. Though I may be wrong. And every storyteller is entitled to their own version of events for their games.
Ahab isn't an actual cainite. Just a morality tale embodiment.
@@roberthaynes9924 Tell that to the true Ahab the. He goes by Uriel, but his actual name is Ithuriel, aka Ahab.
I’m an old child- I do not travel and I’m housed in haunted house’s as the spirits protect me…. All my life I’ve been protected - I am greatful but today I come of age…
Interesting
vampire demigods
Ok I have to ask, what’s the source on the memories of [Lasombra]’s assassins being altered?
Montano (Lasombra's 2nd in command) claimed to have some gaps in his memories of the Anarch attack on the castle of shadows, gaps that are similar to using Dominate. He also knows that Dominate only works on Vampires of higher generation and he is 4th generation which means that only an Antediluvian could use that power on him.
Any plans for a video about Justicars soon?
Probably will get done with the video on the Camarilla, since the office and the organization are tied together.
Wondering if you'll cover demon and hunter lore as well?
Yes.
Finger prints of the gods vibes.
13 makes more sense, besides which, the world wouldnt have been able to bear more.
Is this the signup page to get embraced?!? I'm in!!
We’re all going to the same destination. Religions are just the preferred road driven to get there. That’s what I think.
Never heard the Path of Blood’s story of Haqim’s origin.
Haqim is a badass!
One doesn't become master of the Clan of Assassins without being such.
All antediluvians beg to be embraced,
Haqim FORCE his former beloved king and queen to be their child et after killing them.
All antediluvians fear Caine
Haqim took toe to toe against Caine ALONE without fear without pack up .
Thus earn Caine respected but also curse .
I wish i had friends to play vampire with.
is there a dog barking nonstop in the background drove me crazy
I wouldn’t mind becoming one🤔🥰
Just curious- Are Garou better stronger than Vampires? I'm just trying to understand the difference between the 2. Thank you for your response.
@@atomicash2475 Hey thank you so much I really appreciate the explaination.
@@atomicash2475 If I might ask, what's the issue that Vampires & Garou have with each other though? Why don't they like get along? If it's too difficult of a question if you could direct me to a video explaining that would be fine. I've just been trying to figure out what's their problem with 1 another. Please and thank you.
@@Ankhakaru If you’re referring to in the WoD canon in specific, then the issue is, summed up in a very lax way, that the vampires are seen as creatures that are made to serve the desires of a primordial force that’s meant to lead the world to its end. And the Garou are made to serve Gaia, the force of life and nature.
