Yes, I completely agree with you. When Lincoln rolled out the MKZ line moniker name I knew immediately it was a STUPID idea. Whoever in Linoln/Ford made that call needs to be FIRED. Marketing 101 Lincoln!
I bought one just exactly like this in February with every option but the rear seat entertainment system, which is fine by me because you have to give up the 22 way power front seats to get it. I LOVE the color combination of burgundy velvet exterior and carmine interior. Very rich and luxurious. The ride is quiet and comfortable, and the 2.7 puts out plenty of power. I test drove all the comparable so called luxury equivalents of 2 row SUV's and came away with the feeling that only Lincoln actually "gets" what luxury is supposed to be all about. All the others seemed to be trying too hard to be sporty first, with luxury taking a back seat. The Nautilus has a sport mode, but Lincoln wisely chose to put all the real effort into making it a true luxury experience. If actual luxury is what you are looking for in a mid size SUV body style, Lincoln is the way to go IMHO.
I’m fairly old and I have to tell you that my age group hates red interior’s because it was in damn near every car and truck from the 50’s to mid 90’s. Red and red-ish interior’s is what you youngsters like, nothing old man about it, we avoid it. FYI that’s not the Ford chime smh
I'm fairly old and I like the red F-sport seats in Lexus vehicles so please don't speak for me. Are you going to tell us what "women" and "minorities" like now too?
The 70s is a time where a lot of interiors did not age well. I think a lot of the interiors coming out now that are bright and colorful are going to have that same connotation in the next decade. I may like them now but I think they will not age well. For me Leather should be black or Tan. White to me is just a bad choice as it look bad unless you clean it constantly. The Burgundy leather is still a classic look that will age well but still not something I would pick. I guess classic must apply to old man to his generation.
As a fan of classic American luxury, I immediately fell in love with the red interior. But, to each their own - Lincoln offers many breathtaking interior options if you don't like the red.

Just looking at Corsair, Nautilus, and the Aviator. The interior of the Nautilus does not look as elaborate or elegant as the two others. I like the size of it as we own a Volvo XC60. Don't know if I go to Mercedes, but the interior of the Nautilus lost my interest due to the interior!

Much like a comparison of the top trim Explorer versus a mid-trim Aviator, a top trim Edge ST versus a well equipped (Reserve) version of the Nautilus suggests a fairly compelling argument for the Lincoln.

Old man? Old man? Well look here you whipper snapper........thats a nice interior, but being “60” I guess I’m ancient. (Love you reviews, keep up the great work, just remember you will get old someday too!)
Its odd they would give the Corsair (MKC) the full interior update, but not the more expensive Nautilus. This just reminds me of my mothers old mkz. I would still buy this over a Lexus Rx simply due to it being different and still pretty reliable.
I swear, next thing you know, we’re gonna have transmission selectors in the infotainment screen itself. They seem to be getting closer and closer to the screen nowadays.
Just wanted to share our bad experience with this vehicle: we ordered a 2019 Nautilus 2.7, and trading in our 2016 MKX, which in itself wasn’t a particularly great vehicle (electrical and engine issues). The delivery was 8 months late for us to get the Nautilus. Apparently they were having “quality control issues “, and later found out that the vehicle had 2 recalls before it even drove off the factory. So that was very disappointing. After three months of owning the Nautilus, the transmission starting having issues (very common). It wouldn’t shift smooth, and would jerk every time you put it in drive or reverse. Not something you’d expect out of a 70k$ car. Took it in and they reprogrammed the TCM and claimed that would solve the issue. That fixed the issue... until another few months. Same thing happened and brought it in to dealership. They said they were working on a new software update for the transmission. After another few months, they updated the TCM, once again. 4 months later, (March 2020), our Nautilus with only 4000 miles, is STILL experiencing transmission issues, and also now the exhaust smells like rotten eggs all the time and smells in the cabin. Please don’t buy one of these vehicles, buy the Lexus instead.
Hey Sofyan! Hope you're doing well. The Nautilus does actually have different drive modes, but it's buried in the gauge cluster. If you hit the gear icon on the steering wheel and go to Drive Control, you'll see the different options. Love the videos as always!
I’ve had one for a while and I would buy another one in a second over an RX. Despite how the display screen in the center looks it is very fast and snappy and worth it. Feels luxury and definitely give it a look.
He keeps talking about the Ford edge no one cares about the Ford edge. You are riding in a Lincoln luxury crossover it’s awesome we can’t wait to get our hands on this
Why is it that when people give a review on a Lincoln they always reference the Ford badge products. This vehicle bodyside, doors, front, rear, etc shares nothing with the edge. You never hear people say “This Lexus is a Toyota”. Years ago I can see doing that. Ford literally was just slapping Lincoln badges on Fords, but these new generation of vehicles stand alone from their Ford cousins and should be reviewed as an independent brand without always mentioning the shared Ford platform. Every major auto manufacturer with two or more nameplates (brands) share underpinnings, interior buttons, engines and transmissions. I just hate when people review cars like that. It cheapens the vehicle before anyone has an opportunity to check it out for themselves.
U know what this was well said. I have an Audi S4 and this looks more like a Volkswagen than the Nautilus looks like the Edge.. I also have a 2020 Edge and while I love it definitely nowhere near as refined as the Lincoln. The ride so different and look so different.

Great review as always. Hey, I was wondering, since things are gonna kinda be on lockdown for the foreseeable future, have you ever done a compilation video of door thunks? The straight pipes guys did a compilation of their signature visor test. You do a wonderful job with your reviews and since every single one has a door closing sound, maybe that could be fun, I would sure love that kind of test. Might also be a lot of work. Thanks.
Absolutely love Lincoln. We have a 2011 and 2014 MKZ and 2015 MKC. However I would get a used MKX over this. Our very good friend of ours is the service manager for a Lincoln dealer and they are having alot of issues with these. Interior and exterior lights cutting off and not coming back on, (actually caused one of their loaners to wreck at night), sunroof opening and not closing, lcd screens burning out, and several other various electronic issues. Wait a couple years before buying one or go a used MKX
LOVE our 13 MKX. Smooth ride with all the creature comforts and has been very reliable. Only issue has been some rust on the hood (replaced by Lincoln dealer) and on the tail gate (seam) and rear passenger door (seam ). Both repaired by the dealer. Otherwise, just regular maintenance. Looking now to get into a newer MKX or Nautilus.
Lincoln/Ford will never have the reliability reputation that Lexus/Toyota has. They both have very loyal customer bases but I doubt you could swing either one
How long is the car guaranteed for and how many miles and what kind of reputation does it on maintenance and does it compare with the Japanese are Korea.
I like the Nautilus as i currently have an MKC looking to upgrade in the near future. But that interior on this Nautilus is "VOMIT WORTHY"...!!! What the hell were they thinking...(g)
Lincoln did a very good job of making sure the pricing doesn't conflict the Lexus RX at all. They basically built this model around the Lexus, so it won't have to go through Lexus Wise move.
Ford really needs a smaller platform to sport the ST name. The Focus ST seriously raised the bar on that so folks expect a similar experience from any Ford model with the ST badge. They need another proper small ST model to actually fill the space imo, Escape or something. Small, fast and manual gearbox.
You refer to it as a rebaded Ford EDGE. That is unfair, rebadged would share many sheet metal and interior trim pieces. Example would be GMC trucks and Chevy trucks. Lincoln shares almost nothing with Ford counterparts that is visible, mainly the powertrain and chassis have a family connection. The original MKX was easily identifiable as a rebadged EDGE, but that does not apply today.
Normally, I don't comment when I'm disappointed, just move on. I enjoy watching your more professional reviews, (the recent Atlas Cross Sport comes to mind). This was not even close. The subjectivity, poor production, and lack of research and misinformation is one thing, but to refer to "old man" colors and such multiple times is a bias that's completely uncalled for. The "isms" matter and you should know that. You are better than this effort and your subscribers/viewers and the people who loaned you this car deserve better. That said, may you and yours stay well in these challenging times.

I love the twilight drive!!!
Excellent Review Of 2020 Lincoln Nautilus. 😁
Good review, as usual!
On a side note, the day you can say Lincoln and Lexus on the same sentence, is the day we colonize Mars.
I wondered why Lexus sales were in 2019...Lincoln is here!
After a severe drop in the stock market, my question is how well will it sell?
That leather color looks like something from a Lincoln Continental in the 80's. GAUDY!
Lincoln/Ford will never have the reliability reputation that Lexus/Toyota has. They both have very loyal customer bases but I doubt you could swing either one
Lincoln, upgrade the interior of the Nautilus NOW!
Also, please offer your vehicles in fully electric versions.
Great review. However.... i disagree about the color. I LOVE that exterior/interior color!! Haha.
How long is the car guaranteed for and how many miles and what kind of reputation does it on maintenance and does it compare with the Japanese are Korea.
Classic color!!! A true enthusiast will always appreciate the interior classic color!
Lincoln now names their cars which are good n easy to remember 👍
I like the Nautilus as i currently have an MKC looking to upgrade in the near future. But that interior on this Nautilus is "VOMIT WORTHY"...!!! What the hell were they thinking...(g)
It’s funny, Sofyan normally loves red leather, I’m glad to see he’s NOT picking favorites 🙄 lol Still a great review though!!
What grade level of fuel does it use? Regular, Midgrade, or Premium?
Can anyone suggest which cam is he using?
I have a question: Do you like the interior color?
5:35 is your answer.
Affinity 😂
🤣🤣🤣
With that Red Velvet exterior, I would get the Burgundy Interior. No black, No Gray. Burgundy is unique.
Auto guide just released most reliable auto brands 2020. Lincoln was rated higher than Lexus! 👍
That’s good news. Newer Ford/Lincoln models are much more improved in terms of reliability. Especially when they refreshed their Lincoln lineup.
Lincoln did a very good job of making sure the pricing doesn't conflict the Lexus RX at all.
They basically built this model around the Lexus, so it won't have to go through Lexus
Wise move.
Yikes the interior color reminds me of an 80's Caddy.
The lighting and window switches seems to be identical to a rental $20k Fusion I had recently.
Lincoln look beautiful.. the outside design look expensive... but the but again.. the screen looks dated..
Who's here now after Lincoln revealed the 2021 redesigned nautilus??
Nice car but what do you think of the interior color?
Normally, I don't comment when I'm disappointed, just move on. I enjoy watching your more professional reviews, (the recent Atlas Cross Sport comes to mind). This was not even close. The subjectivity, poor production, and lack of research and misinformation is one thing, but to refer to "old man" colors and such multiple times is a bias that's completely uncalled for. The "isms" matter and you should know that. You are better than this effort and your subscribers/viewers and the people who loaned you this car deserve better. That said, may you and yours stay well in these challenging times.
