- It's finally here! You all have been waiting for me to explain myself- for what possible reason could I commit the grievous sin of choosing Harvard over Yale and Stanford? How could I do this? And the women and the children too? I was supposed to destroy the Crimson, not join them? Bring balance to the Ivy League, not leave it in Harvard? Forgive me, I'm sorry, but I had to do it- it was all for the best, I swear!

My son was admitted to Harvard,Princeton,Caltech and MIT in 2018.My son decided to attend MIT for Computer Science and Mathematics major.Now he is pursuing master degree in Computer Science at MIT.

I’m glad to hear that- keep in mind that a lot of my reasons were ones specific to me (location being an example), so you might arrive at Yale, Princeton, or another college being your final choice! Thank you for going beyond what might be termed "brand appeal" in showing your preference. Also, it's very refreshing to admit that while you were qualified by be accepted to 3 great institutions, you were "rejected" from you two top choices. (Rejected is in quotes because I think you demonstrate the crap shoot aspect of college admission these days.)

It’s a combination of studying and pursuing my own passion! I didn’t study a lot in high school but I dedicated a lot of time to personal projects, so even though studying is generally the main priority it’s also important to balance out your time wisely!

@@sobagyakumar5044 I think the students a these colleges find academics easy. What separates them is the drive for using all their time productively and so they have a lot of successful extracurriculars.

All three are woke but Harward is the worst. I wouldn't approve of my daughter attending Harvard given its discrimination against Asians, etc.
Ya it's true there's discrimination so what it's not like there aren't Asians . There's a ton of asian who we can befriend

Have you visited Harvard or MIT recently? You can see Asians everywhere.
