Full 3" exhaust on full energy suspension bushings and urethane motor mounts=rattle can. My dsm is just loud. Hearing is difficult (because racecar) I know Mike did his best to render audio. I had a blast.
it frustrates me that a dsm video doesnt include footage of it absolutely destroying every other car it races ever. because thats what these cars do lol
any old car will need spare anything. all my buddies have old cars 92 240sx always need fixing. 86 merkur xr4ti always need fixing. my 90 dsm as well. doesn't help that we take our cars to to track and BEAT the crap out of them then drive home and drive daily its an old car thing especially if it's modified meaning its not been factory tested and approved with the modified parts. its trial and error for us who are always tinkering and messing with parts and so on.

On hot summer days 90°+, is when it start to run warm. I absolutely live this car though, it's so much fun, they don't make em' anymore AND I feel like they were built at the peak of manufacturing steel/computers/electronics into vehicles.
My brother used to have a 92 Eagle talon TSI and it was pretty fast. The sound system in the car was the best. Turn the base up loud on the comp woofer and all you heard was music and base. The car was rock solid with no rattle of any kind.
Nice to see some videos of DSM's. Brings back memories of my old 1g's. I've had 2 AWD talons a 90 and 91. The 91 has big 16G turbo super AFC super ITC, ACT2600 clutch, and a shepard transmission. I loved that car but it just was not reliable enough for my only car.
I have a 1998 that is perfect, literally perfect. I've had it for over 20 years. Stored inside always, all original. 30,000 kms. I'll never part with it, and it has never given me a moments grief. I only drive it when it's nice out! lol

Big turbo, still has the stock manifold. That's not a big turbo for these cars at that point. When you need a custom made manifold to get it to fit ;) perfect. Beautiful car man!
+GoProErthang having held, installed, and raced with many of these cars. That's a stock manifold. These cars will easily reach 5-600hp on the stock motor. Im merely saying that if it fits on the stock manifold it's not a big turbo for these cars.
+AZ - BoostSquad molded, but big is subjective. It's big as compared to the stock 14b, the big 16g, or the 18g that came before it. By all means not the biggest turbo out for a DSM. This motor is fully built. The are 1000hp DSMs out there. This is definitely not one of them. Not trying to be the best, no ego here
So many expansive car and fast carbut in bosnia we work for abour 500$ hole month, and i worked 6 years to buy myself pasat b5.5 2002 1.9tdi 96kw and before 2 weeks my turbo go off, now i need to repair it and it cost about 700$ and after i caunted i need to work about 1 year to get it because we got low paymant :(

If you look closely you'll see it's a cast iron T3 manifold with an external wastegate. Looks similar to the stock cast iron one though.

that is a blow off valve its a aftermarket valve and the stock sound your after is something I have on my truck which is stock.
