I was in the Navy in the late 80s and stationed in Charleston. I spent nearly every day on the beach at IOP. I absolutely love this place! It's not a wild beach town like some other places. It's small and quiet. Only about 4000 people. I've been to several beaches on the east coast, two on the west, and beaches all over the caribbean. IOP is still my favorite.

I just stayed at the wild dunes, I had a great experience and good service. Definitely recommended to the people who love to relax and have a good time.
