Totally agree with you. I wish they'd build the A220-500, however I doubt Airbus will, as it will cannibalise the A320. I view the A220 series as the single aisle equivalent of the A350. Clean sheet aircraft. Looking forward to flying it when I visit Europe again soon.
@@uwu_senpai Canadair was created from Canadian Vickers Aircraft... So it's British originally. Also absorbed AVRO and DeHavilland Canada. In the end it doesn't matter, the company today builds Canadian aircraft that can compete on the world stage.
And man did Boeing shoot themselves in the foot! This awesome little jet is selling like hotcakes, and when they stretch it to a -500 model that will cover the A320 capacity the orders will flood in. I’m so glad Boeing lost the fight and got a bloody nose, they were so vindictive towards Bombardier and it was completely unnecessary.
I’ve flown into RIX three times. I love staying in Jurmala. Hope to go again after all tgis Covid business is over, perhaps next summer. I usedto fly from KUL via AMS or CDG but discovered via ISTANBUL saves more time.
Seems to be the best narrow body aircraft available currently... The non-stop flying range (8 hours) is really amazing !!! How many airlines are currently using this aircraft ?
I think it was made in both places. However Airbus has announced they are going to be building them at their Mobile Alabama facility to get around tariffs that Boeing wanted imposed on the type.
Sooooooo 8 hours without IFE ? Niiiiiiiice ... and an aircraft that according to the manufacturer's instructions, you cannot use at full power as the engines are defective, that's what I call a success, the C-series has been around for a few years now, one could expect these engine issues to be solved by now.
Gravity they didn’t buy Bombardier. The just bought most of the shares for the CSeries. Bombardier is still a canadian Company and has other planes to produce and sell. Airbus made a very Smart move and Boeing just made another stupid decision xD

the best and smartest narrow body jet on the market. PERIOD!

YUP!
Boeing 737-Max 10
Simple Flying YAAAAS QUEEEN
The best narrow-body jetliner ever built. Hats off to Bombardier!
The only game in town, brilliant aircraft!
We love the A220 too! - TB
This is a real “Space Age” aircraft!
Satisfied customer is your best sales rep !!!
Great airplane and a friendly airline :-)
We loved the aircraft too! Have you had the chance to fly on one yet? - TB
Great video thanks looking forward to fly to Riga in August
Is the A220 smaller than 737?
This amazing plane is rebranded from C Series of bombardier a Canadian company. It had to sell it to Airbus facing the dirty work by Boeing
Bombardier was indeed a great Canadian aircraft manufacturer built on British expertise.
@@aljack1979 Lol you wish it was british. It's headquartered in Québec and was founded from canadair a French canadian company.
@@uwu_senpai Wings are designed and built in Belfast(team won a top award a few years ago) which is part of the UK.

It is sad that the U.S. government is to blame for Bombardiers bankruptcy.

So Airbaltic is an airline that operates from where?
Riga, Latvia
I JUST GOT HIRED AS A FLIGHT ATTENDANT WITH BREEZE AIRWAYS. WE FLY THIS AIRCRAFT
May become a revolutioniser like the 747

Why would any airline bother with substandard Boeing death traps when superior products like this are available?
Absolutely love love love this airplane.
Looks like it will be a joy to work in as well for the cabin crew.
Anyone get any video of the cargo bins? Would be curious if they are roomy enough to add some cargo.
Looks similar to the Bombardier CS300. It seems Airbus has won the market with Air Baltic.
1 question : Are they planning on getting the -500 if it is built one day ??
asking myself the same thing
Does it made in Canada , Bombardier factory ??
Or in Europe Airbus factories ???

Smart business model
Boeing’s at the end of the video ? 🤔🤔
The tray feature 😂😂😂I guess he never been in an airplane before.
Hes talking about how leg room doesnt change when the person infront reclines, the tray table doesnt move when reclined to assist with that
Gorgeous 😍
the lights make it look like a plane gamers will fly
if you try selling me a plane with that accent, ill buy it....
Canadian design thanks to Bombardier
Smart move by Airbus to buy Bombardier... Stupid Boeing :D

Next time you see them ask them to buy the 787 it'll help its long haul flights it can't survive on just connection flights or the a350 900
I wan't to fly it
Canadian engineering at it's best.
Be safe wear the mask.
4:13 good to hear that at Air baltic only mothers need to change diapers ;)

I'm a man and I changed my child's diapers. I don't anymore, mainly because she's 26.;)

Narrow seats and No Leg room!
I tried out the seats in the video. At 6ft 3 I had absolutely no issues with the leg room. - TB
Wider seats than a 737 and A320
