    THANK YOU! I was laughing at you saying you don't like to break the chords down because you get it wrong because I can relate to stumbling over naming the right finger number, string number, and fret number... but thank you for keeping it real while walking through the best sounding chord voicings on RUclips for playing this song. I'm about to step back out here playing in public again and this makes re-learning the greatest cover tunes easy and enjoyable. I appreciate your time and your patience. G

    Keep it going bro I’m watching in Smithfield va. I play keyboard and a few years ago I got into playing the guitar. I get the impression that you really enjoy playing, so do I, but, it also seems like there’s a shortage of players who like to get together and play. Keep it up 👍

      @@rubinfricejr3341 Thank you for replying! It's the song structure I find confusing. However, your chord voices are excellent!
      I know I should have an ear for these changes, but that's my fault! 😉

    • @rubinfricejr3341
      @rubinfricejr3341  2 года назад +1

      Growing up I was always fascinated with the rhythms to any song I would listen to I would listen to the Rhythm and all the stuff is going on in back of the music so when I joined my first band growing up there was never a keyboard player around so I had to learn all the chords I possibly can and there was a lot of them so when I learned a song I would always learn the keyboard part and adapt that to my guitar playing which made me a pretty good Rhythm guitarist because I was playing chords that no other guitar player was playing so I practice them back and forth constantly until I was able to play them all smoothly

    • @rubinfricejr3341
      @rubinfricejr3341  12 дней назад +1

      @KineMckay it's called A9sus4,,or you can play,,Am11,,they are the same chord with different names,,to keep it simple Am11 I would call it,,over time some people gotten a little too technical naming chords,,suspended chords were call minor 11th chords,,when I was playing back in the day,,suddenly a few chords changed in name,,keep it simple,,it shouldn't take a whole lot of thinking as far as playing chord changes 🤔
