I have been making the Oreo desert for years. It is great for all events. I have made it in 2 bread loaf pans and put in freezer, take out when frozen; turn upside down on a plate and push 4 Oreos into each side to make a choo-choo train, I use stick wafers cut in half for the windows and a mini candy bar for the top standing up for the shoot on top the train. sometimes I add little candies. You want to take out of freezer when ready to serve and just slice the same way you would slice bread slices. My nephew requests me to make for his birthday or 4th of July. It also layers nice in a trifle dish. If I don’t have cool whip I just whip a cup of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. I found the recipe years ago in a Jello recipe book.

I like chocolate chip but Oreos are my favorite. Valerie, that would be a perfect dessert for mine and my sister's birthday dinner. Her vday is the day before mine. I am a year older. I am going to do the fried chicken meal. Had been trying to figure out what to make.
