looks amazing!!! I also have a suggestion!! When I freeze meals I do a layer of plastic wrap and then the aluminum foil over that! It really helps a lot!

We're moving (again, after we swore we'd NEVER EVER do it again!) SO I'm just now getting to this. The good news is, it's only around the corner and my daughter is taking over our current house. YOU ARE A GENIUS! Where were these instructions when I was a young working mom with two littles? And my daughters were young working moms with two littles each? I guess Ol' Gammy needs to get busy on some freezer meals. How exciting! New kitchen, new Gammy! The previous littles who are now at college will love some freezer meals, I'm sure. An easy way for your meatloaf and meatballs is to use the same recipe. We like to make our meatloaf into small links, similar to sausage links, then bake on a broiler pan or grill them.

I love that you used all the remnants of your pasta bags for the lasagna. Great way to use up what’s in the pantry! These meals are going to come in so handy for you after baby #2 arrives!

I figured out the stuffing idea a few years ago - I like CORNBREAD stuffing! I, also, break up the meat (often a combination of beef & breakfast sausage), make a "well" in the middle by pushing the meat around to the edges so there's a "blank" space in the middle... add the eggs, beat well, then liquids then seasonings and mix all that WITHOUT pulling in any meat. Then finally, pull the meat in a little at a time and everything mixes easily and thoroughly - a great method for those who don't like to handle the raw meat. I've even got my 77-yr-old hubby making this for the instant pot because it is SOOO good! Thank you, Julia for all the lovely recipes I've been borrowing from you!! And congratulations on your growing family ;-D

I love freezer meals. I am used to cooking for a lot of people so even a regular recipe ends up being enough for me to use 1/2 to make me a freezer meal with both the now and later meals allowing for leftovers for only me. Thank you so much

Thank you for these great freezer meals! I can’t wait to make some of these for my daughter who is expecting:) My mom did this and I do too for meatloaf - similar topping but add yellow mustard to the mix. We put it on before the meatloaf goes in the oven. No need to take it out 1/2 way through!

All these freezer recipes look great! You will be well stocked up for when baby comes so you can spend more time with him or her and less time in the kitchen. I like the idea of using stuffing as a binder. I’ve been crushing up croutons lately which is also easy and adds great flavor to meatballs or meatloaf.
Yes for sure. It does make it easy or than crushing up bread or using breadcrumbs that don’t have as much seasoning. Thank you so much for watching!😀

Wrapping your meals in saran wrap and then foil prevents freezer burn from holes in the foil.
