These all look fantastic! I made an apple crisp using canned apple pie filling, granola, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Another great I idea is cut up sweet potatoes and apples….drizzle some olive oil and cinnamon then bake at 350 for about 45-60 minutes until it’s soft and golden brown. I’m not a fan of sweet potatoes but this is one of my favorite sides.
I have never had butternut squash or sweet potatoes...believe it or not!!! I'm not sure if I'll like either one but all these recipes look so amazing that I just have to try them! Thank you Maria for working so hard on all of your videos to show us delicious recipes! Love from Texas ❤
Hi! I found your channel during lockdown and it was near fall time i believe! I always look forward to your fall and Holiday ideas! Beautiful family and channel!! Thank you, Maria 😊
For the apple crisp. If you are a fan of cranberries. Try combining about a half a cup of dried cranberries to the apples before adding the streusel topping, it's super delicious!!
Hi! I am in Tampa, & am a former Market Basket employee from Nashua, & was THRILLED to see their products on your RUclips videos!!!! I knew you were a "local"😃, someone I wanted to follow. Thanks for your great recipes- can't wait to make your Roasted Chicken with Sweet Potatoes. Thanks for making me feel like I am home. I miss NH terribly. Not here by choice☹️
I gotta giggle when you talk about turkey and pumpkins. I live in Pekin Illinois right by Tremont and they have a Turkey Festival every year and Morton Illinois that just had their Pumpkin Festival this last weekend. They have Libbys factory and is from what I've heard is the Pumpkin Capitol lol. Love your channel and all of your videos Maria ❤
I cannot wait to try these fall recipes! Thank you for making awesome videos! Did you say you were going to put a link for the Copycat Texas Roadhouse rolls in the description?
Thank you for the video. Delia Smith has an oven bake risotto recipe in her Winter Cookbook. It is very like a real risotto, albeit perhaps not as creamy.
Loved these recipies! Can't wait to try some of tgem. BTY you could probably use a snack pack of appkesauce in your red cabbsfe recipe for that dall sweetness. Also, since you mentioned you don't always like a lot of sugar in some recipies, you can safely reduce the sugar in most baked goids 25 to 50% without much effect to the product. I have always made my chocokate chip cookies with 50% of the amount called for in the 'tollhouse' recipie. It results in a more cakey cookie, but they dob't hurt my teeth! LOL (PS always love your smooth jazz backround music)
I just made the 2 ingredient pumpkin muffins but I add 1 cup chocolate chips. So moist and delicious. Have you tried the 2 ingredient brownies? Use 1 box brownie mix 1 can of black beans rinsed put back in the can and fill with water, puree the beans and mix with brownie mix bake and serve, simple extra fiber and better fir you. Hope you try them.😊
I found a recipe once that cooked risotto like rice. Two and a half cups of liquid to one cup of risotto. Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 20 minutes. It works! The only way I make it now. Edit: I didn't add the extra half cup. The recipes I use have two cups of stock and a half a cup of white wine. I omit the wine and just add more stock.
I do want to start with stating that you amaze me. Thank you for your video, especially all the sweet potatoe recipes. Now, I have a question about one utensil you used. I looked on your Amazon & did not see it. It is the utensil you used to break up ground beef in one recipe. It only had 3 peddles(?) And one had a red edge. Is that sold on a major online or local store. It looks so much easier to clean than the one I use. If the info is not available or you don't have time, don't worry about answering. Crisps are a favorite of mine vs pies. Again, THANK YOU.
I find the store boxed broth is a little tasteless so i always add a teaspoon of bullion per cup of broth. It really makes a nice broth. I also use low sodium which might be why the boxed broths are lacking flavor. Its just an idea for those who use store bought broth and find it dull. 🙂
Hi maria, im from the uk, when it comes to the name of the first dish it depends on the type of meat used. So shepherds pie = lamb as shepherds care for sheep, before industrial revolution people in the countryside lived in cottages and had their own cow so cottage pie = beef. A really well known British sausage is a Cumberland sausage so when sliced and used in this style of pie it's called a Cumberland pie. Whilst veg can of course vary based on what you have, the classic is carrots and celery. Hope that helps with naming the dishes correctly and kudos on pronouncing Worcestershire correctly! Its a bugbear when listening to American creators for us in the uk, eswas you guys have 5/6 states with a town called worcester!
Aw I’m sorry! Is there something specific I can help with? You just need to add a little liquid then stir until it’s evaporated and do that over and over again until the liquid is gone and the rice is tender
I like that you make recipes with vegetables. Shotgun red recipes don't include them. He died in his sixties because of no vegetables and being very over weight.

Thank you for the Fall inspiration! Love them!
The chicken and squash sheet pan dinner is delicious. I used delicata because that is what I had… so good. Thanks, Maria!
I just made it with delicata the other day and it was soooo good! I love all squash!
I love your videos. Can I freeze the shepherds pie casserole? What temperature to reheat and how long to reheat after thawing out? Thankyou

Warm & delicious
Shepherds pie is with lamb mince, cottage pie is with beef mince
Yes! So funny so many recipes call it shepherds pie even with beef!
Thank you for the video. Delia Smith has an oven bake risotto recipe in her Winter Cookbook. It is very like a real risotto, albeit perhaps not as creamy.
Yum! Sounds easy!

Yay! So glad you liked them and thank you for the tips!!! I gotta try that with the cookies!
SO many great ideas. Thank you 😊. Ground beef in my part of Southern California is staying at $5 to $6/pound.

As someone who hates sweet potatoes and squash, most of these are gonna be a pass for me. Dangit! 😂
Aw sorry!
I find the store boxed broth is a little tasteless so i always add a teaspoon of bullion per cup of broth. It really makes a nice broth. I also use low sodium which might be why the boxed broths are lacking flavor. Its just an idea for those who use store bought broth and find it dull. 🙂
Oh that’s smart!
Late to the Party 😢😢😢❤❤❤
What did you serve with the cabbage, pork?
Pork is a great option!! We had chicken that night but I think pork would be 👌👌

@@MealsWithMaria thanks🤗
Try making your risotto in the instant pot , 4 minutes high pressure, 5 minute natural release... No stirring needed !
Yes! I need to try that!
@@MealsWithMaria you will never forget back to making on the stove !!
Meat I use lentils
A shepherds pie is made with lamb meat a cottage pie is made with beef so they are different
