uh...wow. how'd this whole christian bands conversation get started. I LOVE the myriad they are my FAVORITE band. plus, they're a christian band. that's what makes them amazing to me.
@AgeDrain Actually, i've seen them perform it twice. But its true, they rarely do play this one. First time i saw them do this song was about 4 years ago, and the second time was just last year.
He does! In this at least. I saw them live and pretty much the entire concert he was either turned backwards toward the drummer or facing offstage to the side. But he didn't look much like Joaquin Phoenix live...
Relient K actually didn't go secular, if you notice on their new album they still talk about God in a few songs. Although they don't claim to be either Christian or secular, their songs could be taken either way
well i agree with both of you were religions do split us up i mean there are kids at my school that have no friends because of there religion i am a christain but not a cathlic (may have spelled it wrong) i am orthadox which has been hard because my holidays differ such as easter but were the point of drugs it bring us together but i think the point of it sepparating us is that it makes us into diffrent groups christian muzlum and then in that there are more groups orthdaox christian cathlic exc
Also, you may wonder why I take the time to tell you this. I am not upset at what you said, though some may be. I just want to let you know, this is a very important decision. There is your opinion, that we are all facing an empty abyss with no thoughts, or eternal damnation. Or even Heaven, a place of joy. I'm not exactly ultra conservative and defensive, It just struck me as odd when you said All religions do is split us up. Don't deny that you said that, it's right there under your name. Sheesh lol. Besides, Christiantiy has brought families together. Such as alcoholics and drug addicts. Very many examples. Ranging from bands to a blind alcoholic man that walked the appalachian trail
Good try to Quote scripture but I dont really know if that verse is the best fit, I would say something more like Duet 32:31 "For their rock is not like our Rock, even our enemies themselves judge this." (not really I just like the Rock comment) or maybe even Ezik 24:14 "You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign LORD" not of your looks

False Gods, people worshipping pieces of wood and material. Sad, I know. But Religion is just reaching to God, Christianity, is letting God reach to us.
