Yiazmat in NLBLLG is the longest battle ever in the entire Final Fantasy videogame history.
around 73 hours were needed to take the 50.000.000 HP of this Super Boss down with the DCG (Dead Character Glitch) and Balthier´s Sirius + Dark Shot.
since the DCG shuts down everything, I could not use Bacchus´s Wines which would otherwise speed up the fight.
keep in mind that you can only activate the DCG while Yiazmat is not casting spells because this would delay your action and Basch could turn into stone too early.

@@Sporefrog08 I defended Gilgamesh but the second one was cancer I didn’t have reverse yet and used berserk on my tank it took about 40 minutes the dog I niho on and took out about 2 minutes

@@Sporefrog08 my main strategy is to put oil into any enemy that can be oiled and get it the flame ammo for it and kill the enemies but I’m at deep henne mines and I’m struggling at it most enemies are very resistant to guns so I’m basically fucked lmao

So to get onto my point the very first release of JAP FF12 came only for PS2 and there was some tweaks I have never seen in US ps2 version or remake of Zodiac Age for PS4 and PC. In other words I remember me and my friend were level 93 to 95 with all 6 characters and Yiazmat and few other secret bosses took 4 to 7 hours to complete. Keep it mind we repeated game (after few years with little more gaming xp and age of our self) and again it took us almost 4:50:00 to beat him. So in my 40 years I love FF12 the most but Zodiac Age and US original FF12 for PS2 cant be compare with first release with JAP lang and voice because every FOE is overpowered, and imagine my disappointed when I won in Zodiac Age vs Yazmat within 1 hour or less on a first try. Now days , it is rare to find ISO of japan original first version most because they all are not true or patched. (I can also claim that FATAL FRAME - actually Project Zero the JAP version have way more difficult ghost and levels than later US versions also my friend barely won Resident Evil 3 Biohazard released in late 1998 early 99 because JAP ver is set on ultra hard or nightmare mode by default)
(so my advice is : try to find first ever version with japan text and voice overs)

the dead character glitch works only on enemies with special attacks just like Yiazmat. it doesn't work on Omega Mark XII, its impossible to defeat Omega at level 1 challenge
correct, the DCG doesn't work on Omega. But its still possible to defeat him in this challenge as you can see here in my video:

Oh yes I've seen other videos they defeated Omega Mark XII using Zodiarc Eclipse attack over and over. Only a madman's has such patience 😌

The original PS2 version of the fight feels like it takes 72 hours.
PC Zodiac version I can knock Yiazmat out in about 15 minutes because of 4x speed.
even with 4x speed, it would still take forever to beat Yiazmat with the Sirius😆
@@Sporefrog08 Just beat Yiazmat on NG- and yeah, this sucks. Even with 2 jobs licence boards this is dumb and sucks. I have a new found respect for people doing NLBLLG (and my NG- run still used 4x speed,)
I'd compare NLBLLG to NSG FFX, which, I've done many times. NSG FFX is way easier IMO.

What is TP? Is it higher than HP?
How can you get to yiasmat with low health, why is yiasmat not moving, why is yiasmat don't attack, why is yiasmat do not use magick
TP means "Trefferpunkte", which is the german term for HP. The DCG (dead character glitch) prevents Yiasmat from attacking/casting stuff.

If you're not allowed to use license board, how did u get belias?
Belias is the only exception since you need him anyway to beat the game. Basch is the only character who can reach Belias without unlocking any other licences.
we need belias to pass the gate at giruvegan, and that is the part of storyline
could you please explain why you had to call Belias? Wouldn't Basche be hit by stone regardless?
this is the "DCG". turning to stone while dismissing Belias gives the Holy Mote endless priority. almost everything now gets blocked including Bacchus's Wines and Yiazmat´s moves.
Ich versuche das jetzt seit Stunden genau so zu machen hab es dann endlich geschafft das Charakter Mit lem da steht aber sobald ich danach mit ash zu yiasmat gehe haut der mir direkt immer die Tod Attacke drauf und bin tod.Was mache ich den Falsch und geht das nur wenn man low ist? Bin Level 99 Brett komplett theoretisch so gut wie durch mit dem Spiel normal krieg ich den nicht Tod deswegen hab ich es jetzt genau so versucht aber bei mir castet er noch auf mich. Wäre wirklich nett wenn mir das mal genau erklären kannst.
Hat nichts mit Low Level zu tun, der DCG funktioniert auf jedem Level. Spielst du die normale PS2 Version auf einer PS2 Konsole?
@@Sporefrog08 ja tue ich es hat jetzt auch geklappt nur das meiner zur anderen Treppe gegenüber hin schaut konnte an ihm vorbei und steh jetzt dort bei der Treppe unten mache 7000-9999 pro Schuss wird aber denke ich auch dauern was mich wundert hab mal besten bow mit Pfeil probiert macht deutlich weniger schaden
@@luffydmonkey7495 Klar macht der Bogen weniger Schaden weil nur die Gewehre Yiazmat's Abwehr ignorieren. Dunkel Pfeile gibt es auch keine, also bringt der Bogen hier nicht wirklich viel.
@@Sporefrog08 ah ok bleibt der jetzt die ganze zeit da stehn Solange ich mich nicht hoch bewege oder kann ich auch direkt neben ihn gehen? und darf Ash mit angreifen oder hat yiasmat sich auf Ash Fixiert. Weil hab zb ja noch die katanas mit dunkle Schaden und damit mit MPTP und Tobsucht sollte das fix gehen aber muss wahrscheinlich auf Range bleiben korrekt?
@@luffydmonkey7495 Genau, immer auf Abstand bleiben. Sobald du nämlich in seine Nähe kommst, wechselt er zu physischen Angriffen, welche nicht durch den DCG blockiert werden und die Sache könnte schnell hässlich werden.
