I play baseball so I thought I'd buy this today and oh my gosh it's so much fun. After playing it for hours after baseball practice it's become my personal favorite vr game. I love playing in the big stadium homeruns are so satisfying in it. I highly recommend this to anyone even if you don't play baseball.
This would be cool to play a game with friends then go to Alt Space and hang out in the pub after. OH and if you could record the game then rewatch in the pub later. That would be awesome.
It's hard enough to get 2 buddies to squad up in a game. It'll be nigh on impossible to get 18 guys to fill up 2 teams. I guess you could play with random, but everyone would just want to pitch and you'd never get a full game.

Give it 9v9 multiplayer and that would be a game! Everyone plays a position and bats. Make it happen devs! 😃 That would make it hands down my favorite game to play and would have a social aspect to it.

Then realistic mode (9v9 - not sure how disconnects would be handled 🤔 . A bot takes over? A random player can jump in and fill the position? Idk, sounds fun in theory, but may not be doable for a seamless experience lol) I’ll leave it up to all of your creative minds ☺️ - looks like a fun game nonetheless
I don't think the hardware is good enough yet to make many realistic games. I think games like Walk-around Mini Golf and Hyper Dash are smart with their stylized simple graphics. Those games look the best on the platform. I'm really hoping the next Quest will be able to handle a lot more detail. Most Quest games are still made for the Quest 1 in mind. We will probably get more games like RE4 next year when they start focusing on just the Quest 2.
Defense in this game is awesome. Batting feels off. I have to swing way early to get hits. Manual pitching is hard as hell but challenging and fun. I wish the catcher didn't have to run and get the ball after you throw it over his head every time.
we are playing with that in development and are hoping to have that added later this year with the multiplayer update. currently the idea is the catcher has a symbol over their head showing off a pitch option, and you can shake your head (no) to go to next one or you can shake your head (yes) to enable it. We think that will feel reaallly cool.
Ok either my controller is messed up, or the pitching in this game is awfully wonky. Every pitch I throw goes flying over everybody's head no matter what pitch assist setting I have it set to.

@@theyhxtexenz3395 I only played it today and its really fun. It takes some time to get used to the throwing but u can use the hand cannon if u want. Plus multilayer is coming soon and I'm so hypppppeeeeeddddddd! Basically yes its worth it 👍

By "complete the throwing motion" you don't mean completely let go of the controller I assume right? Like, there's a real danger in people doing a pitching motion and even somewhat losing control of the controller. There has to be a tradeoff there unfortunately or shit's gon' get broke.
I bought this game. It’s fun, but I was hoping for it to feel more like a real baseball throw. If you throw like a real baseball the ball flies off into the horizon every time. Bummer. Still moderately satisfying game though.
I have a lot of glitches. I swing as hard as I can it says bunt. Someone hits a foul ball into the stands but it still counts and they stay on first and I don’t continue. And the base running! I’ll be on a base and 1 second after I’m on base and they get the ball I’m out!
I love this game! Took a while to get the pitching down, but I'm having the most trouble with the batting. I've been practicing batting in practice mode a lot, but not seeing any improvement. Any tips or tricks to it? I want to play multiplayer, but waiting until I can at least not embarrass myself too much. I can't even beat the Sloths! lol
Does the game save progress? Like if I beat everyone do It save the data? I just beat everyone and got off so I don't know if it does. Someone please tell me if it saves 😥

@@donovan1345 the gameplay was just ok it wasn’t anything to make it a great VR game, the Sniper scope a lot of the times would go completely black or make over 50% of the visible area black, the weapons looked and felt horrible in my opinion, the iron sights on the weapons were atrocious they didn’t even work I would position it perfectly and somehow still miss, the NPC enemies basically just duck and cover and even lap up on each other, not sure it its in the game but I tried multiple times to get two headshots or kill 2 will one bullet and every time it only went through one person. It’s a good VR game for maybe 14.99 but I’ve seen better APPLAB games for FREE!!
It was his personal opinion. I bought it and loved it personally so his review was good from my standpoint. People will have different opinions when it comes to games. What is great for you may not be great for others.
@@elismoothie8896 I'm liking it so far. I knew it wasn't going to be a full fledge Sniper Elite game, but I enjoy it. The weapons looked like the average weapons of the era. I was worried it was just a tower defense game, but the story opens up some, but I wish it was more open world like the other games of the series. But once I saw the 4 gb game download, I figured it was a watered down version. Yet, still the bullet trail thing is cool too.
Try throwing slower and then work your way up. try releasing the ball earlier than you think you should. try seeing if pointing your palm higher up helps? There are aim assist options LOW-MED-HIGH to help you out until you get the feel of things and ofcourse if you want to not worry about aiming/pitching at all you can always use the arm canon option.
Everytime I pitch the catcher acts like we're just tossing it around the field. The game will register most balls, and absolutely no strikes. Like they just throw it back and forth with me instead of registering my throws as pitches.

I know this comment is old but there is now leagues for this game where they have full seasons playing 9v9. They even have real umps, its pretty cool

Batting is so terrible it blows my mind how the wii had better batting than this
It’s pretty fun but it is WAY to easy to beat rundowns because you can run backwards and they don’t chase you they just throw.

I’m having problems with the batting for sure. 3 hours of gameplay and counting but the throwing is very cool. Looking forward to future updates.
Just use pro hitting cuz there is a sweetspot and if you hit it there you can hit dingers

Batting in this game feels so fucking terrible. Which is sad because playing the field is really fun with high teleportation.

Quick question...why are you looking at third base when pitching? can you not look at the catcher when pitching?

Are there ground balls to the infield where you have to throw the runner out? Most of the defense I see in the video is catching pop ups.

So I’ve been playing the game and I noticed that there’s a setting called slow motion what does that do
It makes it slow motion for like 2 seconds when you switch players in the field, it helps you see what is happening at that place
There is now an upate to were i think the multiple player worka and there are different pitch styles

Focus on improving the timing, not too early not too late. You also want to hit the ball with the fattest part of the bat
