Oh and what part of Virginia are you in? I live in Virginia Beach right near the ocean front. I am shocked at the amount of signs and support for Trump that I am seeing. I work for UPS and I have for 9 So I clearly engage with people's homes on a daily basis and I vividly remember what I was seeing in regards to political support during the 2016 election and then the 2020 election and I am as I said absolutely shocked that the support that I am seeing for Trump and all of these neighborhoods and I am coming across only a few signs in support of Harris. They aren't just counting by hand, they are counting to verify that the ballots are the same amount as the machines, and also to verify no duplicates with mail in or drop off ballots.

As a resident of Georgia, the hand counting of ballots will be easier than in some past elections although it will take some time. We go in, show our DL which is scanned to verify that we are registered. Then we are handed a card to activate the machine and make our selections on the machine. We then verify our selections on the machine and check a box. The machine then prints out a marked ballot which up to now was machine scanned and dropped into a locked box under the scanner (in case of a recount). I am not sure if this last step will be done, or just hand counting of all ballots will be done only or as a check on the scanning which was going on all day. I won't even find out for I plan to vote early - for Trump of course. This will be the third time I have voted for him in the General Election.

They aren't just counting by hand, they are counting to verify that the ballots are the same amount as the machines, and also to verify no duplicates with mail in or drop off ballots.

As a resident of Georgia, the hand counting of ballots will be easier than in some past elections although it will take some time. We go in, show our DL which is scanned to verify that we are registered. Then we are handed a card to activate the machine and make our selections on the machine. We then verify our selections on the machine and check a box. The machine then prints out a marked ballot which up to now was machine scanned and dropped into a locked box under the scanner (in case of a recount). I am not sure if this last step will be done, or just hand counting of all ballots will be done only or as a check on the scanning which was going on all day.
I won't even find out for I plan to vote early - for Trump of course. This will be the third time I have voted for him in the General Election.

Be mindful guys the more early votes that are in, is less wait time on Election Day. They will purposely start slowing down the count.
