the motor has breath to run good bad idea in my book old time is the best clogs motor up quick would not do it to my merc 255 motor to each there own have a good day
How in the world did you drill the cross holes?????? I'm guessing from the outside and through the connector fitting before tapping. Just getting ready to do this AND I'M CONFUSED. Thanks
@@alandust2188 you are correct. I can’t remember the sizes of the holes I drilled though. Basically one large hole straight in from the front bump and go in towards the two bores but stop before you break though. Use that hole to allow the smaller drill bit access at an angle into each of the bores. Then thread the main hole for the fitting.
I’d say not worth all that much as is. There is a guy that sells original ‘remanufactured’ units that are quite a bit more expensive than the Chinese replacements. A rebuild kit doesn’t cost that much, and they are easy to rebuild.
Where is your distributor vacuum? Where you are showing your wiper vacuum is where my distributor vacuum is locate. This is on a 1950 8A Flathead. ALSO- IS THE SPACER 1" THICK?
I sold the car so I do t have a reference anymore. Yes I believe the spacer was about 1”. The distributor vacuum line was plumbed to the carburetor. Some of the Holley 94s may or may not have that port. Best of luck with your project.

@@betterthanbroken8617 Thanks!
I got an original 8 BA carb at a garage sale and I don’t know how much it’s worth. Decent condition and could be cleaned up real well. Any ideas?
