- This video covers the last stage of exposure treatment for the fear of needles (shot fear).
We’re moving onto the final step - I'll put some videos on screen that are associated with needles and medical procedures.
Get any anxiety about these down to zero and then you are ready to move onto exposure outside of RUclips.

Oh god I hate this so much but thank you, this is really helpful. Exposers aren’t meant to be fun
Thank you man, I did it. I had blood drawn for a blood test today and didn't faint for the first time in my life. I _nearly_ fainted and they had to give me an ice pack and a 15 minute break before resticking me for the last vial, but hey, progress is progress. I practiced watching your videos while checking my heart rate with my smartwatch and messing around with different tension techniques and breathing rhythms until I could regulate my heart rate under high anxiety, and it worked just enough for me to get through this.
Amazing man! You did it!
Thanks so much for these. Knowing that you have been through fainting yourself is really helpful. Could I suggest one more set of videos where you have real videos + real sounds (or links to some appropriate RUclips videos with both if these coupled). For me it is the sound coupled with the video that is the final hurdle for virtual experience at least.
Maybe rhe final final would be having a VR video, especially for those with headsets.
Yeah, that’d be cool! I’m looking into virtual reality exposure at the moment.
This is so helpful! Thank you!
I’m so glad you found it so! Have you checked out the other exposure videos in the series?
Thank you for the series! 💉✨
You’re very welcome 🤗
Thank you this has been so so helpful! I can now watch this video while feeling nothing!! I can’t thank you enough. What do I move onto now :))
That’s amazing. Nice work! A good next step is to go to your local Drs or blood lab and wait in the waiting room until your anxiety/midbrain gets used to that.
Thank you !
You’re welcome 🤗
Thank you
Absolutely 🙂👍
