I miss Ragnarok. Ragnarok was my childhood. I am now 25.. and It is sad to think about all my old friends that I would talk to every single day after school for years, have either passed away or no longer in touch with. I'm sad the memories ended, but I am grateful to have experienced an era not many people have experienced, and will never be able to.
I was 6 years old when I first played Ragnarok but I stopped when my family moved to a province and our place isn't covered by ISP yet. Now I'm 18 years old and it's been some few days since I started playing it again but the game server is handled by a different company now... I have no idea how to play it anymore XD But I'm glad one of my friends play it and he helps me through out the game :)

I wanna say that they missed . 1000 percent not playing this MMORPG . All rpg now year 2010 above is so boring . Yeah the graphics is superb but it's kinda boring . Not like Ragnarok .
I played on and off from 2002-2012 and the nostalgia is really strong whenever I hear RO music. :/ I really miss playing the good old game.... when you knew every person was actually a player and not a bot... when every dungeon was crowded with people trying to grind their characters... when scoring a card drop (even if it's just a poring card) felt like winning the lottery... when completing the job change quest was one of the most satisfying feelings ever... the game was so alive back then.

Second ICBT is coming is starting in a few days, but I dont have a computer at the moment so I probably wont be able to participate till close to the end of the CBT. I remember when I discovered Ragnarok Online. I had so much fun searching through Prontera and talk to every NPC. So a comfortable town that really gave me the feeling of being a nobody in a gigantic world full of adventures.
Listening to this song made me recount the fond memories playing with my online friends (whom many I lost contact with which I regret) and not having to worry about what the future brings. The future is now the present, but I can still look back and linger at my past memories of RO.
hi its 2017 and im here again after reading all of ur comments had the gutts to put mine too. Im not a player of r.o but this was the song I used to hear inside the internet cafe.. Also my very first time I held a desktop computer's mouse, yup! whenever I had a research project, I came across these r.o players, when this music plays it made me relaxed and more focused on my studies back then. i miss my walkthough from prontera to payon and vice versa to save zeny, enter every warp just to go to GH, open a chat window begging for heal, picking every loots "jellopy" lol. i miss the LAG wen you enter prontera. killed by hunter fly, mimic and rideword. the GOOD old days..
ahahahahah so true lol, to traverse prontera when there was 8k players online on Iro beta, lots and lots of players killing poring outside geffen, and i was so envious of the "newly classed" archers, cause they could shot porings and kill them super fast.. and there i was trying to get a free poring just to be able to hit job lvl 10.. 6 hours for a job lvl 10.. hours and hours talking with people in town.. and all the amazing things we did when Ro was still Ro.. then 2 classes came, and it was already half dead.. then renewal and 3rd class, totally dead. :( I always feel so bad when i think about the old days playing Ro, priest used to make money with warp and heal buff, i also used to walk everywhere to save zeny on warp ahahha.. the good old days that will never return :/

even though i only played it for a year, i really loved it. those hard times when grinding my character, met new friens even though we never met each other and also the old good times of WoE. although i really suck at this game but my friends never gave up on me. thanks to this game, i now realized the importance of friendship.

the biggest lesson this game taught me was to NEVER TRUST people. it was a very, very worthwhile lesson. better lose a fin helm (when they were THE mid headgear) than my car or something. i've played RO for 7 years if i dont include the gaps. since late 2002

this game reminds me alot of memories.. i remember playing it in internet cafe were random players playing it helping you out giving some items etc.. when were finally strong chars we do party hunt bosses, play pvp even tho were in different guilds.. free teleports to GH ended up in bugged stucked maps lol.. those pesky hunterfly im always getting killed.. ragnarok has only one quest... that is to have fun... you're free to roam anywhere explore new maps, encounter mini bosses... such great fun time i had those days with people i barely knew..
0 Dislikes. Because one does not simply dislike the theme of prontera. Well played. Paino version sounds much better and gives it a more nostalgic feel. You must have played a priest because you sure know how to sustain correctly.

i tried to play Tos.. but maybe i just can't have that naivety i had when i played ro first? i liked ToS, But is not even close to Ro honestly.. :/
