Great to see lightning shield putting in absolute work here. Making good use of casters is always the first thing to collapse once I get into any kind of pressure in a game.
want to suggest a challenge idea. Ud, mass crypt fiends with burrow. Hide them somewhere in the map, perhaps enemy first expo, then unburrow to kill , bonus pts for a surround
To elaborate. He used the Blademaster to wind walk in as the blademaster has no hit box when in windwalk. Then, he attacks inside and now has collision, and is inside the same collision as Shadow Hunter. Now, he moves shadow hunter, and the game now registers there is a collision overlap, so it punts the shadow hunter to the nearest space possible to unstack units with collission. Had he moved the blademaster after coming out of wind walk, the blademaster would have done the unit hop instead. This was an insane tech to pull off to save his shadow hunter who was otherwise successfully boxed in and surrounded and had no way out except through collision hopping.

I am curious why does Grubby play blade vs Elf when he usually plays far seer vs human and undead is it cuz of wisps, cuz then he uses mirror image as well vs elf?
@@SttravagaNZza Yea but he could go demon naga and far seer does more damage with lightning, I guess only a pro would know the answer to these questions.
Farseer can indeed creep faster but wolves can be hurt by wisps detonates. Mirror image helps BM escape from roots. Dryad abolish magic also dispells wolves, but mirror images too (But, which one is the image???). FS more vulnerable against mana burn than BM. Chain lightning useless against mass dryads (can only hurt 1-2 heroes or wisps rarely), but critical strike and windwalk works against dryads.
Do NE have any diverse builds like grubbys orc? I love how complex his builds are, they seem really difficult to pull off but there is a ton of micro and strategy. All the NE builds I see are mass this, mass that. Maybe bear/dryad but half the time its all 1 thing. I never see a couple talons mixed in etc. It seems like Grubbys builds are very skill dependent and things can go very wrong easily especially if RNG is not favorable.
There are some builds for Elf that have more diverse armies, but they aren't as common. One example is, against undead, a late game Elf army might have bears, dryads, MGs, talons, and a few archers It's rare to get a diverse army as Elf because most of their strongest units require a lot of investment to get going. For example, if you're going for Master bears, you need to invest in T3, both bear upgrades, and enough bears to make those investments worth it. So, there's not a lot of extra money to go around for getting a Wind and a couple talon, even if faerie fire would be a nice addition. You can afford to add some dryads, though, because they are built at the same building Same idea when going for Master talons, it might be nice to have a bear for roar/rejuv or an MG to tank up front, but it's a big investment to get a Lore and those units. You can afford a couple of faerie dragons, though, since they are built at the same building I think Orc also doesn't have this issue because they have a lot of units that give diminishing returns when massed. For example, a couple of kodos is good for aura, but the aura doesn't stack, so massing them is usually not good. Raiders are good for ensnare, but at a certain point, you have enough ensnare, and massing them isn't good (unless you're doing hit-and-run), because they don't do that much dmg. Witch doctor sentry ward is great, but you don't really need many doctors to have vision of everything important, etc. I do wish that Elf had more opportunity to have a more diverse army like you mentioned, but the way the race is set up doesn't encourage it
@@bryansweeney3077 thanks for laying that out, I was definently being close minded assuming that they didn't because what's the point when you can just mass x but what you said makes a lot of sense.
Entangle doesn't do that much dmg against heroes; it's mostly used to disable and focus fire the hero. Plus, you can purge it with shaman, so I think the gold from selling the bracers is more worth it

It’s a shame that night elf’s true only weakness is misplay. I watch many games where they can control map, expand, creep, harass and so on with so many tools and options at their disposal. Despite many players saying it requires high skill, it does not imo. Yes you need basic micro, macro, and understand what tools you have access to. Same goes with any race, they just don’t have infinite safety nets and strengths.
Am i the only one who sees the value of having one lore and one druid of the claw with roar ridiculously big?
