For info, you do not need to disconnect the (green) fuel return pipe, just unclip it and carefully lift it up out of the way. Then, once you have changed the fuel filter you will not need to prime the system, just turn the key until it starts. I hope this helps.
I disconnected it for sucking out the air... It sometimes hardly ignited after changing the fuel filter... U r right. Sometimes, it s not necessary to disconnect it.. cheers
Did the job yesterday and after changing the filter and bolting it down again filled up the reservoir though that top bleed screw. So minimal air in the system. Fired up first time !!
thanks for the nice video! just for your ref. get a section about 60cm of cotton rope then routed underneath both of the two supply tubes(left & right) and pulled the filter top cap out. lubricated the seal with diesel before installed the filter. tighten the bolts in diagonally opposite manner.

It is the manual extractor, 6L
