Reliability is the main concern of Skoda cars. I don't like my cars sitting in the workshop for months.II like to drive them everyday. I have seen skodas with unsolved problems in the workshop or parts unavailable or so expensive the owner cannot afford. I would stick with my Honda City. One suggestion would be to please discuss about the maintenance of these old cars.
Overseas it was new generation Octavia, here in India Octavia & Laura was sold side by side. Laura headlight (only in top end i think) came with something known as xenon headlamps, the throw of those lamp don't have a competition till now.
