No clue if it's the case in this case, but drainage pipes can be accompanied by lines of stones to help slow water... but I am not a soilologist either, sooo, not certain.
French Drains are just rows of buried gravel and stones for drainage, no pipes needed.

It’s going to feel so weird watching this video back in 6 years time while standing in the middle of a completed park 😂
Mike. Mike when you do these you should use the three word thing or latitudes or something a few times, then in 6 years or whatever if it happens you can work out exactly where you were standing, which may he a coaster, theatre or toilet.... My point is exact locations for future references!!!

At least Universal has a reputation for actually building things in a reasonable time frame, unlike most home contractors here in the US.
Did you see they have sent a small letter from the recent local meetings, its on the website dated 9th may. looks positive.

The stones are probably land drains for draining of water off of the land.

After a quick Google search - a red survey flag on a proposed construction site can denote Electric Power Lines, Cables, Conduit and Lighting Cables
Like I have said many times the area for the propose Universal Great Britain Park/Resort Looks Massive and it’s best to have an inspection check just to make sure with plumbing and electricity also as well with the process if it’s yes or no with the construction of the potential resort.
Can't wait for 'Indiana Jones And The Trenches Of Doom' to open. Will it be a coaster based attraction?
If they discover a rare jumping spider, orchid or bleedin' newt I will have to go out and thrash something with a twig!

im excited. ill likely never be able to visit, but this is great for the people of britain to have their own Universal studios park. hopefully you guy get some really cool attractions. im really hoping for some sort of Lord of the Rings area.

I say if there is any rare archeological find down there, you had your chance to dig it. Now its time for a theme park thats actually good in the uk, and hopefully kick merlin off the map.
