Just watched it, worst book adaptation of all time. Just read the books, they’re great and in contrast to the movie didn’t have all the joy sucked out of them in favor of producing a cheap version of Euphoria.
Yeah... Two things bothered me a lot already so i do not want to watch it... Firstly, liv is described as blonde in the books. And secondly... She never took the games serious and was scared of dying if they don t stop the game. This just feels to wrong for me
Also liv has glasses which are a big insecurity for her... but that's only a few out of many things that went very wrong in those not even 2 minutes, so I wanna save my time of watching a whole hour of this.

@@salometatischwili6060 It's a book adaptation and the English/internation title of the book uses "Silver", I guess they also did it in the books, not sure. But it makes sense in case the last name is of meaning for the story.
Wow i just bought the book like 10 minutes ago, 20 pages in, went to look up if there’s any live action adaptation coming soon, and i see this trailer lol crazy. Cant wait to finish the series!
I've read the book a couple of times now beacause i loved it so much but this movie seems nothing like the book tbh. I mean the book gave me a very diffrent and more optimistic i guess vibe. Also the characters where described differently than the cast of this movie looks. So I am not quite sure yet if i want and if i am going to watch this movie because watching this might destroy my idea of the story...

Started watching Reacher - the really handsome, hot, TALL one, built like a real man, and I have come to the hurtful realization that I am too old to ever meet anyone as perfect as Alan. I still watch, because in my dreams I'm younger and pretty again.
Terrible. A shame, because the books seem to be well-liked. The production is actually not poor, but the story is a disaster. It just doesn’t make any sense. It fails to sufficiently establish the rules of the fantasy world it portrays, which is a fatal flaw for any fantasy movie. You can leave an audience guessing, and some things unexplained, but you can’t leave them confused, and it certainly does that, without sufficient charm, intrigue, or suspense to carry it.
Just watched it, that was actually pretty decent..greay storyline, plot twists, great cinematography and nice actors. I don't know how it didnt make it to the cinema.

It feels like I've already watched/read this story dozens of times. And Im no stickler for acting/dialogue but Jeez. Im excited for the Boys and Reacher though.

Alright, cool premise but the dialogue sounds TERRIBLE I can’t tell if it’s the actual script or the delivery of it but something sounds off

Same, I read them a long time ago but I feel the same way, this one seems much darker, and the characters are not even as I imagined them...

For its own Its maybe a good film, but the books are telling a total different story. Exept the characters names and the basics of this dream stuff
