ALMOST NEVER HAVE I EVER | WITH ASTON MERRYGOLD

I Hacker the Dog, aka Hacker T Dog went behind the scenes of CBBC’s hit musical drama Almost Never in Belfast, and met me old chum Aston Merrigold. Aston plays the role of The Wonderland’s manager Jordan, alongside a star-studded cast including Emily Atack, Colin Hoult and Kimberly Wyatt, not to mention the band themselves!
They've also got some super talented members of the Wonderland Band - we're talking Harry Still, Nathaniel Dass, Oakley Orchard and what about the incredible acting prowess of Tillie Amartey!
Aston and I go way back and we met 10 years ago, I was only a pup then, I’m only a pup now cockers! Back then Aston was part of award winning band JLS, who were runners-up on the fifth series of ITV talent show The X Factor in 2008, yes The X Factor is over 10 years old cockers! Back then Aston JLS won accolades such as British Breakthrough and British Single at the 2010 Brit Awards as well as several MOBO awards over the years. JLS’s self titled debut album JLS, debuted at number-one in the UK and Ireland, but calling it JLS is a bit lazy if you tell me, they must’ve ran out of ideas.
You might remember some of Aston’s greatest hits with JLS hottest girl in the world, Beat Again, Everybody in Love, One Shot, and the marvellous She Makes Me Wanna. Aston was also well know for his Aston JLS backflip, he’s a very spritely young man!
