Hacker T Dog here aka Hacker the Dog. Yes Children's BBC is 35 years old! Nearly as old as me! (I'm 6 but that's 42 in human years!)
Children's BBC split in to CBeebies and CBBC but CBBC HQ has always been a part of what we do (it used to be called the CBBC Office and at the start, it was called the broom cupboard.) It was a staple part of the BBC One and the BBC Two (BBC 1 and BBC 2) schedule.
