Both men were willing to push themselves to the limit in order to achieve glory or in The Undertaker's case, Retain the Streak. In this video, I cover the feud between Triple H and The Undertaker. I enjoyed this feud. The End of an Era slogan was just for marketing purposes. I do believe The Streak should've ended at 20-0 and The Undertaker rides into the sunset but that didn't happen. Also, Imagine if Triple H broke the streak. Many would hate and despise him more than they previously did. What did you think of this feud?

That 4 year stretch of Wrestlemania matches that the Undertaker had with Shawn Michaels and Triple H is basically perfect. For Ruthless agression kids, this was the final great chapter in 3 of our childhood heros' careers. I remember being 12 or 13 around this time period and being glued to the screen every single Monday waiting to see if the Undertaker would respond to either guy. Guys like Taker , Triple H and Shawn Michaels just know how to tell stories like no other. Major props for mentioning WWE 12' and 13'. I was talking to a friend about it yesterday and how underrated those 2 games really are since they came between the smack down vs raw and wwe2k eras. Everytime u post I get slightly noatalgic 😂💯

For me I think after Brock beat the streak I kinda fell off of wrestling for a while tbh like punk was gone I didn't care for roman Jeff was not there. I just felt like we'll guess thats the end

This is a really good feud. HHH and Taker were still on top of their game as performers, and both of their matches at 27 and 28 delivered. The streak itself is such an amazing thing in pro wrestling!!!!

I think takers smurk at start was because he was like dude ya already tried yrs ago to beat me at mania and now ya want to try again lol then hhh tries after this the next year for hell in a cell I think that makes hhh the only person to have lost to taker at mania 3 different times 🤔🤣
What an amazing feud. The streak something only a single man held and only a chosen one would have the right to say they broke it. Brock lesnar ending it is iffy sure he is a “beast” but Roman reigns then adding to the loss is such a cheap attempt at making reigns the next cena. This was not good for business.

Maybe. I personally felt like it should be about him where that match was about the 3 of them. I wish they never wrestled each other again because it was a perfect 4 year story. He seems to have retired now and he seems content with that and I’m happy for him.
I think after he lost to Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania 33 which was the main event would have been better that could have been a better retirement for him
A very timely upload considering the Last Ride episode that dropped yesterday. But yeah, these two men produced 2 incredible WrestleMania matches in back to back years. Nothing but respect to these legends for that 👍

The cell lowering, 2 legends face to face about to go to war and put it all on the line. All the while Metallica is playing in the background. Literal goosebumps to this day. I loved it.
You should review the year 2010 because that was the year wwe started to decline because a lot of their top stars left or became part time
Yeah, 2010 and the early 2010s as whole were definitely a transition period for WWE. A lot of the remaining Attitude Era stars like Triple H and Taker became part timers and guys like Edge had to retire (temporarily) due to injury.
during the RAW promo after the match HHH finally mentions his feud at wrestlemaina 17...with Undertaker...which WWE had ignored.
Honestly, they were two of the biggest stars to come from the 90’s and they were wrestling for what was supposed to be the final time. Add Shawn Michaels there and yeah, you sorta have the end of an era. Three bonafide main eventers and world champions sharing the ring for the last time. It was perfect until they ruined it in 2018.

So Finished Watching Chapter 3 of Undertaker TheLastRide .This Episode was amazing man we got insite those phenomenonal 4 greatest matches of Undertaker , Shawn Michaels and Triple H and disasterous Tag Team Match on Supershow down I remember all of that .This Series is just Wow
I was shocked Triple H didnt end the streak based on his reputation and while I didnt love Brock breaking the streak but didnt want HHH to break it either.
I would have loved to Taker to retire at maybe 21-0 or a young guy do it.

To me this was the true end of the Attitude era. Trips and Taker were the last of those guys from that era you could place in ANY match and had star power. A lot of us Attitude era fans tuned out after at the latest 2004, not knowing these two had their best work ahead of them. By themselves, they were the foundations of a lot of great stories and matches, some reminiscent of the Attitude era. This particular feud cemented their legacies as in ring workers, set the standard for future wrestlers and gave the older fans something to appreciate in this era.
This is one of the greatest feuds in wwe without a doubt.

2016 smack down was great
In my mind Taker retired here, it was his transition into being a part timer and all his feuds afterwards were kind of an anomaly, tbh i dont even remember any promos from the CM Punk feud, the whole thing felt like they just wanted Taker to have an opponent, no brainer to choose the best heel in the business at the point since it never occurred to them to pick John Cena. If you ask me, Cena or Kane would have been better picks to end streak.

Triple H said if the streak dies, the undertaker dies. But what really happened is, when the streak died, WWE died. They shot themselves in the foot, 2 fucking times by letting lesnar and reigns win.

I always like this match the only thing I want to know is what era ended? Wwe doesn’t need to add end of a era because Undertaker vs triple h in hell in the cell with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee would have selled tickets.
IMO it was marked end of an era because it was the last time two major legends from the AE who worked show after show before transitioning to being full on part timers.
How I see it: It is the official final nail in the coffin for the Ruthless Agression PG Era

No we won't. And if we do, it'll be the most depressing match ever. DX vs. The Brothers of Destruction was a dream match done way too late. Sting vs. The Undertaker will be just as unwatchable.
