Tamiya TT02 Speed Run Challenge - Are the Hop Ups Worth It?

Setting a base speed for my stock TT02. It'll be upgraded with hop ups as we go along to see if we get an increase in speed

I always start with the steering upgrades

Shocks and steering is what I would do.......?..tires foam tires 😊

Shocks is the next upgrade and steering will be upgraded too. Deffo need better tyres and foams are probably the best way to go 👍🏻

Should of bought a drift tto2 kit as comes with upgraded parts i see like better motor full ball bearings etc

Agree but this was a project of starting off from scratch with a basic stock TT02

Chamge the hardware to allen/hex screws the Tamiya ones are so soft especially if you use loctite on upgarde aluminum parts.

@rctamiyaaddict4687 Do it buying a hex screw kit is cheap just get 12.9 hardness hardware kits and use loctite 222MS it's expensive but works well and 50ml last forever.
