They are not illegals. They are Resident Aliens. illegals can´t serve in the military. Serving in the military does not exempt you from the criminal justice system. They are also convicted felons. It doesn´t matter if they were some Sgt Major Basil Plumley. If you commit a crime you are deportable

This makes me angry. It's complete bullshit. If someone serves in the U.S. military, particularly in a combat zone, they should automatically be granted citizenship. Anyone who signs up prepared to lay down life and limb for this country DESERVES that. I am shocked -SHOCKED - that this is happening and so wide spread. It's a national disgrace.

+e delio No. Anyone who fights for this country should be given full citizenship. If, after that, they break the law in some way, they should be dealt with in a court of law as with any citizen, not deported.

So did “Slick-Willie” Bill Clinton. He fled to Canada 🇨🇦 during the Vietnam 🇻🇳 War to avoid getting drafted and having to serve in SouthEast Asia. Unfortunately, he came back, married “carpet-bagger” Hillary Rodham, and became President of the U.S.. His “trysts” inside the Oval Office made more headlines than the little that he had actually gotten accomplished as President.

I went through the same situation back in 2006 when I graduated high school. I wanted to join the marines and since I didn’t have legal documents I decided to borrow my friends social security and info so that I can join the marines. I went through the whole process, I went to basic training at MCRD. I wanted to serve and feel proud that’s what was in my mind, I was brought here in this GREAT country at a very young age. Then I got deported. I understand the process and immigration laws cants argue with that, but there’s more people that you can’t imagine that come from other countries and are willing to protect this country like if it was their own. Yet I manage to come back and now I’m here still living a decent life fighting every single day to be better and set an example for others that might see that the obstacles ahead are permanent. I still love this great country. If I was given the chance to join the corps again I will do it.

Not everybody who is in the car can be held responsible other wise dangerous driving would also be applied to passengers.
Now let us view this in context. Welfare claiming illegals and criminal illegals are allowed to live on as if they are contributing to society.

Here is how the US Government really LOVES our US Veterans:
Let me tell you a very personal Story of my family of my eight brothers. Eight Brothers all severed honorably in the US Military for a total combined total of 51 years, because we all thought it was our duty and honor to serve for our beloved country and even give our lives if that was required in order for our people to live in peace and freedom for all. I myself served a total of 7 years in the US Air Force.
    Here is my Family story:
1-In 1943: one older brother Robert W. Dingey - 16 years old was nearly burnt to death making Hand-Grenades in 1943 in a military plant during World WarII, working at a Burnham Boiler Plant in Zanesville, Ohio. I was 6 years old when this happened.
2-In 1947: a second older brother Cpl. Paul Dingey - 21 years old was killed while serving on Military Duty on his way home in an Automobile accident. I was 10 years old.
3-In 1950: a third older brother Sgt, Miller M. Dingey - 26 years old was killer in an US Air Force Plane Crash in Japan. All 43 Military Solders was buried in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. However, Miller M. Dingey plus 15 other soldiers was all burnt beyond recognition was all buried in one large mass Grave. Miller had severed in the entire war in Germany, then after the war in Germany, he was transferred to Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. I was 13 years old and attended Military Burial Services with my Father Enos R. Dingey Sr. and my next older brother Enos R. Dingey Jr. in St. Louis, Missouri.
4-In 1954- I joined the US Air Force and served for a total of 7 years. I was honorably discharged like all my Brothers before me.
I am Harry Dingey, a US Citizen and US Veteran, and married to a girl in the Philippines and where we have lived for 10 years together in the Philippines. Never one Argument in 10 years.
I am 84 years old, I got stranded in Florida 14 months ago because of this Pandemic, I am in very poor health, and I am living totally alone with no relatives in the States to take care of me should I die (If my wife is not allowed to unite with me then they will just find me dead on day). I am living in my home total alone; I am in the process of trying to sell my home. But, I don’t have enough energy to repair, clean-up my home to sell it.
I went to an Immigration Attorney and ask him to apply for Tourist Visa to bring my Wife into the USA for 6 months, we was married for 10 years and living in the Philippines. He told me that is impossible because we are married and I must apply for a IR-1 Spousal Visa to bring my wife into the USA. I ask him how long does that take to Process this IR-1 Spousal Visa. He told me that a IR-1 Spousal Visa take about 2-3 years.
So, I ask him, why can’t apply for a Tourist Visa that takes only a few days to process like millions of people all over the World come here. He told me the US Immigration are afraid your wife will stay here because she is entitled to file for Permanent Residence once she enters the USA.
So, here is the problem and my Question :
If the US Government allows the US Immigration to separate all US Citizens from their Wife for 2-3 years and most especially a US Veterans is the way to treat our US Military veterans who have volunteer to fight for every person in the USA to preserve our country, the right to live in peace and possible die in the process.
Why in the world would anyone want to fight and die for a country that will not let them bring their wife/spousal to live in peace? The Law Makers sit by and let the US Immigration force a 2-3 year separated that many times will end up in a Divorce?
Then here comes President Biden He wants everyone all over the world enter the country by the Thousands and we do not even know their name.
Why would any person in the USA want to fight for a country that treats them worse than any other person in the entire world, want to join any branch of the US Military? I only wish my family knew this before we sign-up to serve and die for a country like that?
We have 535 Congressman and 100 Senators and not one of them thinks that a Military Veteran should be allow to live in the same Country they have fought and died for?
Why did they RUN for Congress or Senators Office?
Here is the LAW WE NEED:
“If any Spouse of a US Citizen or Military Veteran shows up at any US Embassy in the World and shows PROPER PROOF such as a MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, they will be allow Entrance into the USA for at least a SIX MONTH VISA”.
The only way this US Citizen or Military Veteran Spouse Visa can be denied by a US Immigration Officer, is they must show absolute proof the Spouse is engaged in some form of Terrorism or Treasonous behavior.

Serving in the military doesn't guarantee citizenship. If they had read their enlistment contract they would know that!
These people either got screwed by their recruiter or are under a dangerous assumption that serving means immigration immunity, which is definitely not the case; because I've seen felons being dragged out service to serve prison time.

    • @bighands69
      @bighands69 8 лет назад +1

That would be all fine and dandy if there was a super strict immigration control system that is applied equally to everybody.
But when there are criminals who are illegal being arrested and then released under various political programs then these guys cases are very sad indeed.
The US should be screaming out for people who are willing to serve. Yet welfare claiming illegals just carry on.

So you’re saying that veterans who knowingly or unknowingly
make turns into Mexico with loaded weapons and get arrested should be punished and made to serve their sentences there…cuz, you know, they committed a crime? I don’t know what your take is on cases such as those of Jon Hammar and Andrew Tahmooressi but I find it interesting that those cases rile up people to the point that they get politicized and fanatics crawl out of the woodwork to feign interest in the lives of those individual simply because they’re veterans. In
those cases anyone who expressed the same line of thinking as you and who tried to hold the individuals responsible for their actions would be deemed ungrateful and un-American. Even those who love to complain about big government and preach about the virtues of personal responsibility demanded that daddy Obama do something. Fast-forward to deported veterans and then all of the sudden it becomes perfectly acceptable to, without a question, blame veterans for crimes that they knowingly or unknowingly committed and hold them accountable regardless of whether the punishment is proportionate to the nature of the infraction. There’s no outpouring of support from fanatics who take umbrage at Obama’s lack of action; doesn’t even cross their minds. If the individuals I mentioned got afforded sympathy largely based on their veteran status then why the same can’t be done for deported veterans?

we don't know the details of how he was in a car when someone else had a gun on them. believe it or not, there are places in this country where most people feel they need to carry a gun just to survive. a lot of pricks made a lot of assumptions in their comments here.

  • @emmanuelmercado545
    @emmanuelmercado545 7 лет назад

A gun was discharged from a vehicle. It was not a "drive-by". The passenger discharged the handgun but the way the law works; both get charged. It was not gang related and nobody was injured. The weapon was probably registered to him, it wasn't an illegal firearm. I imagine weapons handling is common for most soldiers. His mistake was "assuming" he was neutralized. Just like most people here assumed that because he is a minority that it was a gang style shooting. Either way, I thank him for protecting this melting pot we call home. America the beautiful. A place where people of European, Native, African, Asian and Middle Eastern descent can live together in Freedom without the pestilence of hatred and extreme radicalism.

This a shame...deporting veterans. Their case should be handled in a thorough manner to include help received, corrections and status changes filed before any action of deportation. If they've messed up, paid the consequences with no ties to criminal organizations and are not career criminals...deportation should not be the outcome for US veterans.

This is how bad the imigration laws are it’s more important to them that someone fills up some paperwork so they can give them their citizenship then a man showing by his actions how much he loves this country and is willing to die for that’s less to immigration he should of fill the right paperwork if he wanted he’s citizenship, risking he’s life and fighting for all of us means nothing it doesn’t show them that he loves this country cause they don’t have any forms of him askinv for he’s citizenship, what an embarrassment of agency imigration is for what they did to this man ,those ten years he will never get back and what he went thrue in a country he knew nothing about .great laws .
