What I love about watching these every Friday is the way you keep everything fresh and interesting. Don’t know if anyone has said this before but you’re an awesome editor, people don’t realize the art of editing and the time it takes to put something like this together. These pieces have such great photography, story and editing. Love your work!
Thank you SO MUCH!!!🥰❤️
True!
The editing really is super, definitely is on her resume, or should be, top notch travelogue stuff!!! ❤️❤️❤️
True, but I do have a feeling a large majority of her car is begin held together with JB Weld at this point.
YES. I am seeing such great work developing from a few channels I follow. Very entertaining. Nice going.
Id say that dog has a better life then half the people in USA.
Probably more than 99% of them. Such a lucky coolest dog living its life to the fullest
I'm cancer patient i don't have any Help me to fulfill it may allah make all your problems easy and don't put me to any test No one helps, just come to you all, give me some time, please take it all
More like 90% of the people in the USA
He’s a very happy camper boy
Most dogs do
That good boy is living his BEST life! Bless you for rescuing him.
You made Larry's day!!!it gives me hope that when im old and alone i might stumble upon a beautiful angel that can remind of what love was like.
You are always good looking but with some sun on your face! Absolutely gorgeous! I do hope your knee is no longer bothering you.
That shot of Camper curled up at the end of the video is so sweet.
They say you can tell a lot about a dog by the way he carries his tail. Camper looks so proud and happy to be with you. Great friends!!! KEN
Thank you!!!
Hope my pup is as happy traveling with me as Camper is with Nikki. We’re exploring the southern U.S. right now while traveling out of my suv

I adopt a gray tabby cat five years ago. He was one years old give or take. I love seeing him carry his tail high! He is now a new home owner, of my house.😃
@@NikkiDelventhal Love you so much babe beautiful girl
Another great video Nikki...I hope the Toyota corporation recognizes what a great advertisement your are for their prius vehicles...you really put yours to the test!
Love the little stop at the Death Valley sign. I always stop at them with my golden Hudson and take those same goofy little videos. We’ve been taking it easy on the hikes the last week because of a paw pad injury on my poor guy. He absolutely has not enjoyed being in boots but I think he’ll have to wear them if we do end up in Death Valley because it seems like the desert drys his paws out. Also shoutout to Larry he seemed like a cool old guy giving ya some tips
It really makes Jeep drivers have a bad day when they see a Prius doing just fine on the same trail they are on
Haha this comment has me rolling
Hahahahah! It was NOT easy to maneuver, and it took hours to prepare but we did it! 😂😂😂
Lol!! That’s really funny!
its the wear that will catch up to that prius. All those smaller linkage joints are not made for that(tie rods, ball joints and other fittings will start to fail faster)
Dropping 65k on decked out jeep only to see a Prius rolling down same trail = 🙂😳🤯😖
Im so pleased you are showing the world the western u s states they have great scenery and geology, spectacular nature and a good education, thanks Nikki much love ✌️❤️🇬🇧
Crazy how many awesome rocks are out there, who knew haha
I'm cancer patient i don't have any Help me to fulfill it may allah make all your problems easy and don't put me to any test No one helps, just come to you all, give me some time, please take it all
I can see that Camper and Larry made real fast friends !!!
This is so inspiring. We went to Death Valley many times with our Prius but we were to scare to drive in the off road paths. We will definitely getting a lift on our Prius. Thanks for showing the way!
Be careful. Only professionals ! 😊
I'm cancer patient i don't have any Help me to fulfill it may allah make all your problems easy and don't put me to any test No one helps, just come to you all, give me some time, please take it all
The lift on the car matters only a fraction of the time, 99% of the time it's the drivers skill that will get you through. You have to be hyper aware of where each tire is and will travel and thus you should know if you'll bottom out on an obstacle or such. I've driven a lot of logging trails in fwd cars, and not a logging road but a trail where we'd pull logs out with a skidder so there's stumps and mud holes to avoid.
@@trevors8577 we get it Trevor.
Every time Camper climbs under the covers with you, I'm reminded of when I rented a motorhome and worked my way through Oregon and the California coast with my dog for about a month. One of our first few nights, we slept at a campground in the Oregon "high desert." (Reading a book on a camping chair with a picnic lunch in the middle of a golden meadow was probably the most beautiful and relaxing time of the whole trip.) I hadn't yet figured out how to heat the rented vehicle when it was stationary, so the cold woke me in the middle of that night. I grabbed my tightly-curled-up dog and put him under the comforter in my bed -- for my benefit _and_ for his! That became our routine for the rest of the trip. 😊🐶
I love ur show Nikki. Proud of you, adventurous, brave, resilient, tough, talented, prepared. Good luck and happy trails 👣
what i'm interested in knowing is how does she get sex? does she use tinder? she lived 2 years in a car, i just find that unfathomable.
I got the Garmin inreach mini like yours when went on a world cruise-was able to send messages to my kids while out in the middle of the pacific with no cell or wifi around. now have it with me whenever I travel because never know if will have a wifi signal when you need it-like rural areas or mountainous areas. Glad to see you recommending it.
Love that your are living your dream… safe travels and Godspeed young lady!
We missed one another .. just home yesterday from DV .. I was on the South end. I did the Racetrack and the East road to the Ubehebe Talc mine last time. My nights were perfect as your experiencing. Watch for the rangers with the dog .. not supposed to be in the back country I guess .. I’m not supposed to fly my drone either. 🤠
Quick tip from an avid off roader. Pull a little air out of your tires, they’ll be less likely to puncture and get better grip. The ride will be a little smoother as well.
Not always true though. Street tires don't have sidewall protection.
@@joseantoniosanchez9057 They don’t, but fully inflated they’ll pop even faster.

where do you shower? hotels? is there a way to save by showering in homeless shelters or youth centers? this girl says she lived 2 years inside a prius. does she drive to walmart for bathroom breaks?
@@cagneybillingsley2165 I see in a lot of her videos going to truck stops and paying for the showers.
I car camp on Scotty's Castle Road just pass Daylight. Most of the time I have that area all to myself, super clean restroom and a picnic table as well. When the wind kicks up I'm safe from the brutal sand storms that hammer Stovepipe Wells area.
So cool you got to see those 'Magical' rocks. I didn't know they had figured out how & why they move. Hope you didn't damage the bottom of your car to much. Thanks for the adventure!
My favorite National Park - it is stunningly beautiful and different. And Camper must love that there's no water for his friend to make him go into!!! "DRY Lake bed??? YES PLEASE!!!" LOL... Great video Nikki, glad you made it in and back relatively OK - great job!
Nikki and Camper are my favorite!!!! I wish y’all the safest adventure. LV. NewJersey 💕💕💕
World traveler, model, reality TV star... prius on a 4wd trail (the most epic thing she's ever done)
You should be on the Department of Interior's payroll! Your the official ambassador for western parks. Great video, keep them coming, your making me want to travel out there from sunny Florida.
They probably don't appreciate that she is taking her dog around in the National Park...
@@joyvonguerard9653 Why? Dogs are great companions and can keep you out of trouble. A dog can run off animals that might do harm to you. Dogs can get help if your injured. So, what is wrong with a Dog?
@@rctjacksonville it's against the rules to have a dog in most national parks. I double checked before I posted and death valley is the same as a lot of other parks where you can only have dogs in parking lots and campgrounds. Dogs affect wildlife, their waste persists in the landscape for quite a while if not cleaned up (not that that happened here but there are a lot of visitors to national Parks), they also don't stick to trails very well so they create a lot of little sidetracks that can widen trails and encouraged new trails being created by other visitors.
So rules, not laws? Dogs don't deficate any more than say a wolf of Mountain Lion, so why exclude for that? Walking of trail is done all the time by little kids, so ban them? Don't you think the rocks and sand can take a few extra paw Prints? What about companion Dogs to help with mental issues, should we ban them and exclude mentally handicapped tax payers? The argument could go on for days, but the truth is Mankind is far more detrimental to nature than Dogs, so ban humans from these places and see if Dogs do any worse.
Your in my back yard. pahrump. the flowers will be blooming in death valley soon can be spectacular.be safe in your lifted Prius
Enjoyed this video👍 the satisfaction of going “and returning” to a place with your car where everyone says you shouldn’t is so satisfying. I’ve done it many times in a old VW bug with oversized tires 👍👍🙏😄🎩
That’s awesome, I’ve got a little suv so it’s nice to see smaller cars get back in there cool spots

The little Prius that could, DID IT!!!!!
I’m going on a road trip in April! I’m kind of terrified of all the things that could go wrong, sometimes it overwhelms the possibility of what can go right! But you give me courage, thank you.
I think that if something a little bad happens you’ll handle it and realize, hey, this isn’t as bad as it could have been, and it will give you confidence!
I've felt the same way a lot of times. The Stoics have a practice to deal with these types of hurdles: premeditatio malorum. Tim Ferris explains his version of it, "Fear Setting" here: ruclips.net/video/5J6jAC6XxAI/видео.html It's helped me; hope it helps you.

Always makes me smile to watch you and Camper having fun.
Be safe.
I really love how you give facts about the stuff you are seeing! And I really think Toyota should give you a four wheel drive off road SUV for all the positive Prius comments you make! Thanks for sharing!
Me got stranded on soft sand in few weeks ago, lucky to have another camper to come by and pull the car out. Stay safe Nikki out there.
I ALWAYS look forward to seeing your videos 😊 you two always make me smile and laugh 😊❤️ hope you and camper have a wonderful weekend !
On a glamping trip last year, we drove into Death Valley. Just the entrance drive into Death Valley is awesome.
I love Death Valley! Have only been there once- would love to go back someday! You are so adventurous driving on that unpaved road in your Prius! Hope the underside isn’t damaged too much❣️
Definitely made me want to take my little suv out there and see it for myself. Traveling with my pup right now and California is on our list of places to go, so much to see in that state

The personification of the word independence: Nikki Delventhal. 💪🏼
What an adventure Nikki! It's an incredible place to visit in the future. I put it on my long list.
Same Death Valley seems very neat and kinda huge so lots to explore there. Gonna have to check it out with my own pup when we’re out that way. Currently more towards Arizona traveling but it’s not so far away

One of the nice things about living out of a cheaper vehicle without a build like this is that if you break it, you just get another one! If you have a big van or rv with an expensive build you have a LOT invested in it, like 70k-150k+! If something happens most people couldn’t afford to replace it.

I always thought of death valley as just wasteland super hot. I guess it kind of is in summer. It Looks like it has alot to see in the winter when it's not so brutally hot!
Nicely done! They grade that road a few times a year but it's definitely a challenge no matter what for a low clearance 2wd. Next time go with a low range 4x4 and go check out Hunter mountain/cabin. Tons of cool camping spots and trails up there!
I love your Camper boy so much Nikki, he is a sweetheart 🥰
Such a great adventure - the intro, showing off your safety features (the satellite device), that cool lake trip, and Camper D finding a stick where there should be no sticks :). So cool!
What i love is how somebody who's been out there said yeah you can make it in your car and said yeah do it. If you get stuck somebody will stop and help you! ❤❤❤😁
The dude in the jeep is probably questioning why he spent so much money on a jeep.
This is what I love about my 2000 Toyota 4-Runner, you can explore without fear. These vehicles last for ever...knock on wood.
So .... did anyone else notice the Jackery showing 69% charge when Nikki setup the panels, and states they were spending couple hours having a good time? .... then returning to the Jackery to pack it up, stating 'We're all charged up!' and still showing 69% LOL ...
Noticed it too! I run a pair of 55W panel sets onto a 35Ah battery for my recirculating fluid bed processor. Doesn't take very long, but a 1500Ah would take forever. She could use a pair of 200W panels. I wouldn't mind a pair of those Jackery's.

I love Death Valley so many good camp spots be safe and ready.
RUclips recommended your video to me, and i'm glad it did. I genuinely enjoyed watching you experience this trail. Was this your first time off road? It looked like it. For a while I worked part time for a guy who did offroad training, and part of why I did it was because I love seeing newbies get that sense of accomplishment and wonder when they realize the car or truck theyve been using to get to and from work for all these years can also enable a life of outdoor adventure. That's what I saw in your face in this video. Love it. Great job pushing some boundaries. Keep it up. Maybe get some meatier tires for next time though. ;) Also, great judgement turning around to get more gas. Ive seen it happen so many times. "Eh, ive got half a tank, ill be fine". turns into getting towed back to civilization at 2AM. Doesn't the prius get crazy good gas mileage though? Isn't that the point? Or does the electric not kick in at the speeds you were driving? I dont know much about the vehicle. Anyway. NICE JOB!
I have to admit, I live Vicariously through your adventurs. The scenery is amazing and I deeply appreciate your adventurous spirit!!! :) :)
AlLL JEEPS need to start giving Nikki the secret Jeep club hand wave as she passes by. She is honorary crew now.
Camper is such a mommas boy 👦 and he sleeps like a baby . To cute
The economic hardship, recession, unemployment and the loss of job caused by covid pandemic is enough to push people into financial ventures. I'm taking a trip into investing because I lost so much during this pandemic. Multi creation of wealth is the best strategy to ensure financial sustainability.
Personally as a first time investor, I started trading with Mr Ben Harris With $1,000 now my portfolio is worth $5,400 within the space of few months trading with him

Happy to see you using satellite "backup". Good job!
Such a fun channel. I know my first comment mentioned maybe getting a slide in truck camper.
After watching this? Yes. Lol you totally should. Better travel, full bath and you can store extra fuel. And its so much better and cheaper than 150k for a stealth van that you cant even off road with.
Its totally your style and opens the door to much more freedom and adventure.
Haha I'm also a Prius owner that takes it on some gnarly gravel roads to get to rock climbing places. I'm married with two kids and a dog, so we usually have a trailer as well with our camping gear. I've never seen such an authentic video. The roller coaster of emotions (at 5mph) is so real. Love the video!
Thank you!!!!!
I took my 1993 Chevy cavalier off road to St. Mary's Glacier, Colorado. I made it about 100 yards from the top of the trail, which included a small stream crossing and steep grade rock crawling. the Jeep'rs up there couldn't believe their eyes. I made it out with no damage. every car is for off roading!
WOW! That place is breath taking! It looks like your on another planet or something. Great Video! Thanks for sharing.
Good ole Camper and his sticks. Nice knowing good people like Larry are still out there.
Yes life is short my saying was when I was younger "Life Without Adventure Is Death". Congratulations on your Travels.
Hello
I live in South Africa, you are so lucky to be able to do what you do.in my country its much to dangerous unless you camp at paid camping sites many with security. I love camping and everything outdoors. I Enjoy your posts as a couch watcher. Thanks Rodger
When you charge your jackery put it in the shade behind the panels - the way you left it had it casting its shadow on part of the solar panel which reduces efficiency somewhat.
Lucky girl to visit beautiful and amazing place like you and Camper
Thanks for posting and sharing. Nice to see the playa. Very interesting story about the rocks.
Nikki and Camper you both are my favorite videos on RUclips!
Love, you
Nancy from Connecticut
I love your adventurous spirit .
I loved death valley and i did it all in a rental car. Everything was shaking and i filled the inside up with sand. Everytime i took a shower the water drained brown from so much sand. 10/10 i want to go back.
One time I drove my 4x4 deep into the mountains.. up long and bumpy forest service roads. When I finally arrived at the top. I parked next to a Prius. lol
Thanks for the video
Nikki, I love your Wanderlust. You are very fun to watch for this old man with no trust for the roads. I love your connection with Camper, I too have a pup connected tightly at the heart. But showing me the "places" far and away from the city lights, the beauty, and how relaxed you are---"Priceless". Thank you for your travels, Happy Trails.
Kudos to you. I was out in Death Valley a week ago. I was in a rented Jeep Cherokee and decided to turn while I was on the way to Racetrack Playa(after about 7 or 8 miles in). The road was very bumpy, but I was worried about cutting on of the Jeep's radial tires on a rock. If it had not been a rental, I would have kept on, but it felt like a risky and slightly reckless task with someone else's vehicle. That's really awesome that you made it.
I used to go off roading in a ford focus station wagon. I always got the same Strange looks when people would pass me.
Hi Niki,
Just wanted to share how much I have enjoyed your videos that have taken us across the country in your Prius with your dog camper. What I most love about your channel is how you have found your passion for life. And how you go about sharing that with your viewers. Love the Energy share through your videos. May many blessings come your way!
dang you're brave! the check your spare and no signal no AAA sign would've had me sweating the entire time!
You and this Prius 4x4 😂 *Mad Respect Once Again*
1) You are cooking your Jackery in the sun there. Nothing kills battery life like heat. Place it behind a solar panel in the shade.
2) ANY shade on ANY PART of a solar panel dramatically cuts its power generation. Arrange them so their whole surface is fully exposed to the sun.
Also, you have a nice dog.
I love it.
I live in Colorado and I've taken my gen III Prius on roads you wouldn't consider passable either. Just go slow and take the right lines and you can get there.
almost a week i miss you guys. camper is a happy dog. so the satellite messenger sounds cool I'll research that.
I was just in Death Valley on Wednesday. Did a day trip from Las Vegas. I was very impressed with the park; quite beautiful. I saw the major touristy places and it wasn't very busy or too hot; only around 85 degrees.
great to see somebody out there living!
11:38 Wow! you played fetch although you don't like camper to be off-leash ! you make us viewers feel like we apart of the journey , you actually read the comments.thanks! with such positive vibes, I hope to be your subscriber for a long time and watch/like your videos
Wow the places you visit are beautiful, you are beautiful and camper is just the bee's knee's,
what a life you are giving to that dog
‘.. we’ll just duck tape that later ..’
That road is so rough and washboarded it is crazy because it looks so flat ..
Have fun ! You should take the Wildrose canyon road out and go see the mining site of Skidoo !
Hi Nikki I been watching your videos since the beginning and this is my favorite video ever, because if the place, Death Valley, seeing those rocks that was amazing. Thank you thank you thank you! Be safe I’m working my way from oldest videos to newer ones.
Great Job! An epic off road adventure! Pushing the limits again!
I love four wheeling in my prius to. Thanks for a great video.
You can do anything. Great trip to Death Valley.
Not only are your videos a delight to watch but your inspire me to get out and see the our beautiful country before it's too late. Thanks for sharing.
We’re only on earth for so long so I love to find those who enjoy and are mindful of the beautiful world around us. You can walk into nature and completely emerge your self in a magical place 🧡
Went to Death Valley many, many times with my motorbike crew from L.A. when we lived there. Was always a great time staying at Furnace Creek Ranch Resort, best swimming pool anywhere with water filtered clean by underground porous rock, no chlorine in that pool either! Lots of good times had by all of us!
Thanks for another very cool video, Nikki, be safe out there!
Watching your vlog every week is like waiting for an exciting weekly episode of Nikki and camper. Your so brave Nikki. I get anxiety with your adventures
Not many women can get away with being so gorgeous without makeup , but you definitely pull it off!!!
Nikki. Love the positive energy. Keep smiling. Wish you happiness and companionsship
I'm not sure why the RUclips algorithm recommended one of your videos a couple of months ago, but I sure am glad that it did. Your videos are the highlight of my Friday every week. You live the coolest life, and I hope you keep sharing it with us!
Boy I wish I could join you.. a season of free spiritedness would be so good!!!
I have a 2016 prius and drove it up many 4x4 roads in Colorado where I live. I've drove it up the haul rd to Prudhoe Bay and the arctic ocean and all over northern Canada and the western US. It's pretty amazing travelling on a quarter the gas of what my 4runner would use
Camper 🐕 is an Awesome 👌 companion to Nikki ! 😃
So awesome how they found each other, it was meant to be
Your bravery in tackling the path less traveled, in a Prius no less, is very inspiring.
I myself run about in a two door Jeep Wrangler and you gave me pause to consider what 4x4 I’d recommend for you and Camper.
I’d look at a Jeep Wrangler, very capable rig that’s lots of fun to customize. The drawback is the lack of gas mileage. The Toyota FJ Cruiser would be great for you and Camper if you wanted better gas mileage. The third option would be the Toyota Tacoma truck.
I’m actually surprised you haven’t moved from the Prius to a 4x4 yet. I’m a fan of 4x4 vehicles for exploring, camping, and travel off the beaten path. Watching your channel has helped me to decide what I want to do with my Jeep.
Continue having fun and sharing your adventures. Some of us really like watching you and Camper. When I get ready for a Jackery you can bet I’ll be using your link to get one.
Many happy trails to you both from myself and my gal Brandy the pooch.
It's the Camper Delventhal and Nikki Show
Great video. Consider getting the Prius washed (especially the under-carriage) because the Playa gypsum is really caustic and abrasive.
