I really like this format of filming the room tours you I think you can really see what Jared is talking about easier but whichever is easier for you they are always great tours
I’ve sailed Aqua Class on Celebrity and loved it! However, prices have more than doubled from the last time I sailed Aqua at the end of 2021. For me, its just too expensive now, even though I do love Blu.
Hi, I noticed the beds are not close to the veranda/balcony, is that correct for all aqua class rooms to just the one you were in? Have you found that the beds being more close to the inside of the ship helps or adds to developing motion sickness? Also, does the TV tilt so you can watch in bed? TYIA.
Heyyyy. Soft color scheme. Agreed the closet space does look plentiful. Also agree that not having outlets for charging phones on 1 or both sides of the bed is annoying. Worse when your phone is charging on the desk and you have to get up to turn off your alarm. Like daily 2 bottles of water. The light from the curtain and the elevator ding good points. Nice video! Silhouette was our first ship and we do like it. Hey, we know you're on the Apex Transatlantic. Just wondering what capacity the ship is at? BTW, we signed up for a Transatlanticon Silhouette next year.
We sailed Aqua class a few years ago and it was wonderful. However, that last time I looked the price was a LOT more more than we paid. As for amenities, the shower was great but I never visited the Spa… The best thing was the Blue Restaurant which was fabulous but not worth the latest prices.
Thank you for this review Jared. It felt like I was transported back to one of Celebrity Silluette class staterooms. Just a note here, all balcony staterooms including Concierge have the same configuration, apart from the shower heads. We actually prefer the reverse configuration with the bed by the balcony. It gives you more space for changing with a sofa close to the bathroom with the big mirror right there , plus it is nice relaxing on the bed, reading a book and glancing at the sea once in a while. Continue a great work guys!
Just booked this exact room on Reflection Dec 24’. Will reconsider location as we are light sleepers and the elevator dinging might be an issue. We chose for location and to not be under any spa rooms. Excited about this is a first Aqua Class booking. Thanks Jared for all the details.
A light night is brilliant. I don't understand why all ships don't have them. I bring a small string of battery operated lights and magnetic hooks and hang them in the bathroom.
We just got off the Equinox Aqua Class. Amazing service in Blu and stateroom attendant. We will only cruise Aqua class. Down side noise from deck above with trolleys being rolled.
I have a question about the bed. It looks like it’s curved at the foot of the bed. Was that an issue for you two? (I know you’ve said you are both over 6 foot.) were you both trying to sleep in the middle, or it it plenty long enough?
Jared, you mention the lack of outlets and UBS ports and said if they upgrade the ship they should consider adding. Unfortunately, I believe the Silhouette has already been revolutionized so doubt they will add in future.
@@JJCruise I do now yes. Blessed that I am able to and I only cruise once every two years and I spend the same amount for my cruises as I would when I do land vacations. Funny (not ha ha funny) but my last cruise in Oct. was a 14 day TA on the EDGE. We stayed in the Edge Villa, glorious two story suite that has a balcony and hotub most would never want to leave. I never stepped foot on it, I have this crazy irrational fear of heights especially when wide open, I feel like i have to jump. My husband though, took full advantage of what it had to offer LOL. The suite though, OMG spectacular!

Not having outlets on both sides of the bed is a big mistake in design

question: they CAN split the bed into two twins, correct? i have not seen anyone talk about that. with the curve on the bottom, i am wondering.
Yes, rooms can have split beds as well!
We just completed a South American B2B Aquaclass on Infinity. The Blu restaurant was our favorite class perk.

You are right about the outlets though as these are older ships, there are no phone outlets by the bed.
Yes! Same configuration minus showers AND decor. But, amenities are very different. ☺️

We will always book at least an AquaClass room on Celebrity. We love them. Even though we never use the fitness gear. LOL!
