The VOICE of KATHLEEN BATTLE was lnot a big one but it was likened unto a FLAWLESS diamond...so pure...so beautiful that after listening to her, I would be so mesmerized that sleeping would be impossible. What a waste of talent to have had leave the Met and even reside overseas. I still believe it was a conspiracy of fiendish proportion. However, nobody can erase that voice from the memories of humankind.....a voice of purity and utter beauty!
