Fabulous tutorial, on this topic. Thank you so much for spending the time to share. 2 Questions: - what if the Pdf Invoice tables span several sheets on the Pdf? will this be an issue or will PowerQuery recognise it (It shows as several tables with indicated page number). I suspect it will be an extra manip? - If you have several expected tables on the Pdf sample, but on the other files, all the tables aren't always present, how much of an issue will that be?
I apprecite your feedback ! Please see my answers below: 1. If your PDF invoice tables span multiple sheets, Power Query can handle this, but it will require some extra steps. So Power Query can recognize tables across different pages, but you might need to consolidate or transform them manually. 2. If some of your PDF files have missing tables, it can be a bit tricky. Power Query will still import the available tables, but you might encounter issues if your data model expects all tables to be present. I would try to use conditional logic in Power Query to check for the presence of tables. I hope this helps !
@officeuniverse thank you so much for your answer, much appreciated!. It looks like the mission Iset myself is endiing up o be quite complex. A lot of learning there te be gleaned - but also a lot of work!
Hi, got to admit, this is one of the best video on that topic, question tho, the row filter by table is good when the are few columns, what if the info inquired is better seen on the pages ? Are the remaining steps the same?.. thanks in advance
I truly appreciate your words. If you want to import the entire PDF, the basic steps remain the same; however, the transformation of the query table will require additional steps. As I mentioned in my video, first, you need to study the structure of the PDF, and then decide how to transform it. If you need support on a specific topic, please do not hesitate to email me.
I have problem now that power query divide the same column into two or three any solutions I manage 400 tables Also are there any solutions to make all tables with same titles so l can assemble them as one table ?

great work, could you give materials to practice us
I am working on a landing page which will provide training materials, such as actual files with solutions, as well as raw data samples.
VERY good video. Could you please share the practice PDFs with us?! That would be incredibly helpful to exercise myself. Thank you!
Thanks 🙏 I am working on a landing page to share all my files
Nice, but give the practise files
I am working on it !
