@@brodieshredzhow do you do the vacuum with your abs flexed simultaneously?
Takes a lot of practice you have to have killer abs and then you have to learn how to do a stomach vacuum
@@noplexity4739yeah it just basically comes with developed abs
@@brodieshredzbro.u manscape? Zero bodyhair? Lucky dude.
0:40 Hanging knee raises (control it, don’t swing)
1:40 Decline Sit-ups (if you wanna hit obliques as well turn a bit to each side after the rep)
2:25 Incline Leg Raises (hip raise at the peak if u feelin spicy)
2:55 Rope Ab Crunch
3:45 Ab Rollout
Ok
Legend thank you
How many reps should I do for each exercise
@@CrispyBacon1he doesn’t seem to say in the video, i personally recommend doing 10-15 reps
it also depends on how many sets of that exercise ur doing (more sets, less reps) just so you don’t risk overtraining.
you can always do more reps if you’re comfortable doing so, or (depending on the exercise) increase the weight ur doing it with
@@germbean9705 ur a king 👑
Bro is majestic🗿
Keep going man
Only cause you said it, I’ll keep going 🫡
Yea, but he is very close to his natural peak, except lats and calves, but those shoulders and chest, its my dream physique
That "22" year old man looks 30 years old... As a 22 year old I feel like a child now.
Gear will do that to people
Wait who's 22 ?
That’ll be pure amount of test 😂
That dude looks 40
Don’t worry bro all that means is that he’ll be looking 50 when he’s 30
You should do more videos like this showing what exercises you use for different muscles and muscle groups
Learned a lot about core work in this one, thanks man =)

@@brodieshredzbro u my inspiration to work out, dont stop also stay natty brother 👊 😎
core of ages… stunning physique, amazing look, authentically humble. i agree, love this guy.
Bro this video's the best, do more of this my guy. Full support!
Thanks for the video, this sets a whole new meaning to the way I do workouts. I'm one that was doing it all wrong. Keep it up bro 💪
-Oh, that guy? ...he also has educational videos?
-I had no idea, I've only seen the shorts but now I'm subscribed.
The aesthetic of your core is one of my favourites of all the fitness influencers and this video is great keep it up big guy
Brodie smashed this vid. Love to see the hustle.
You seem to be a very kind human being. I like you approach a lot. Thank you sir. ❤
Great video. I'm age 22 and dig gymnastics for 14 years. I was born in Ukraine and put into gymnastics by age 4. Then adopted and raised in rural USA and stayed in gymnastics. Abdominal exercising became my way of coping with stress and helped for gymnastics strength. I trained my abs all the time in American schools and got negative comments (me being a foreigner and gymnast mostly) but some guys loved my abs development. I got beat up at age 16 and older athletes held me in a full nelson and targeted my abdominals. That became a new passion for me which led me into aggressive abdominal workouts for last 2 years of high school. I came to learn a lot about how to build muscular core and Brodie does a great job explaining how. Key for me was working lower abdominals first and then introduce more upper abs because they fatigue faster than the lower abs. I grew up on a bar and doing hanging leg raises from a very young age. But we did these hanging on a wooden bar rack and had to keep legs straight and bring toes to touch the bar--hold for 3 count--then slowly bring legs to an L-sit hold and for 3 count then raise legs up from the L-sit. That counted as 1 rep. Another thing we had to do was do hanging leg raises holding the lower bar of the girls uneven bar. My butt was only a few inches above the mat. We had to do hanging leg raises from that position--it eliminated all momentum and forced the abdominals to most of the heavy lifting. After I got beat up I leaned into heavy resistance abdominal workouts--I fell in love with cable crunches (and do them as Brodie does) and weighted roman chair sit ups. I trained abs with some high school wrestlers and they taught me roman chair sit ups. We raised the front of the bench so to keep tension on the abdominals when we got to the top. I learned from Brodie Shemanky's abs video on how he trained his abs. He was a college gymnast (Iowa) and turned into bodybuilder. I came to love using his cable abs exercise where you hold the flat bench with hands over head--the cable is hooked by your feet. You then curl your hips raising your feet to bring them back and the cable adds the weight for these. It's a fun tough core exercise (google Brody Shemansky Abs to find those videos). I totally agree with Brodie about abdominals should look and be trained. I love this video a lot.
Dang bro ur entire core is shredded, and u got some awesome content this helped me a lot
This was great, really taught me a lot, I watch a lot of your skits by the way, their funny asf.
Bro I look up to you and your the one that got me to start pumping iron so thank you. I hope the best for you. 😊
Hope you're still going strong!
Great selection of exercises I'm gonna try a lot of them. Very good for long term growth.
Started lifting 5 months ago, best decision I’ve made this year. Still trying to get rid of stomach fat, it sucks having it. This is gonna help a lot. Gonna start walking on my gyms treadmill tomorrow or today or whenever I lift next. Love your videos man. ❤💪🏼
The fat is a body fat percentage thing, so in broad terms if you keep a high protein diet and burn more than you consume (calorie wise) you should get leaner over time
You won't lose an inch of fat by doing more ab workouts, you'll just gain core strength
You can't target fat loss. Calories in < calories out, and you'll lose that fat bro. Get after it. I started almost 2 months ago and I'm almost 20lbs lighter.
@@TNJVidz Congrats man. I started doing cardio but I’m out of the gym for a few days because I have a bad strain in my lower back. I’m gonna start ab workouts once I lift again.
@@skape4069 I know that’s why I’m starting cardio
Yeah that guy, he dose nothing but core 😅

Hanging leg raises is the best 👌
One think for the incline leg raises, at the end, lift your hip upwards to engage your lower core
Please make more tutorial videos. You're not just aesthetic, you're legit powerful, please show the rest of us how to do that
I would love to see your other work out routines
Perfect video thank you!
Awesome content bro, you are such an inspiration. Would be nice to see some collabs, strength challenges, try to challenge Gabe Deutsch to an armwrestling.

my man for the incline leg raises you could try dragonflags ohhh and for the leg raises very impressive knee leg raises. you have the strength to do toes to bar leg strength
Can you do like a full upper body workouts video with like chest, arms, back and shoulders too
Oh hello. I actually saw a video now hehe new level
Please do more long format videos!
You should make a vid about arm and leg workouts
Thanks
You have a really good natural physique. I am in the gym community since i was a kid because of martial arts, and i can say you are 100% natural, bro. Never destroy that reputation by going steroids. Keep it natty, keep it humble.
Bro has my dream body
Do you have to do side ab exercises like side planks or do the core exercises demonstrated here provided enough wear and tear on them?
thanks so much man, what about leg excersises?
I sometimes forget that he is a fitness enthusiast.
I'm gonna try recreating these in my basement, thanks a lot!
every time I see the bar swing at the beginning I get flashbacks to the crossfitter doing butterfly pullups tipping the whole rack over...
Yo bro ur doing great in the RUclips shorts but can we get an arm workout please 🙏.
Cheers Brodie
This man needs to do gym vlogs of a full workout I’d watch and learn something. Fuc*ing ripped
❤❤❤
I been watching him for 2 months now
YO! It's the guy from those RUclips shorts!
Please do a pec video(upper mid and lower chest)
Front lever is the best 😎
How to strengthen mind-muscle connection
Note: Please don't do hanging knee raises or leg supported situps if you have anterior pelvic tilt or are feeling any kind of lower back pain.
Awesome muscular abs bro!!
if that guys 22 i'm 2023
Man, how often and how many exercises do you do when you train abs? Trying to figure out how to work it into my split
W channel
How many reps? And how much time you wait to turn to the other set and excersise?
can you post your gym routine?
❤🙌🏻
I’m terrified of doing incline leg raises cuz I feel like the whole bench is just gonna flip lmao
Oh that guy, i see him always training abs
i know this one was posted a while ago but what does your programming look like? how often are you hitting them a week? im trying to get more aesthetic and currently just training them hard whenever they recover from the lest session which is usually 4 ish days
How’s that going ?
@@therealest832 relatively well, currently bulking still so i suppose we shall see when the cut comes around
Ol boy at the end is 22 goin on 45 😮
Hey Brodie, when I do sit-ups I have lower-back pain every time. I also tend to have back pain on most core exercises. Do you have any tips for me? Thanks.
Means your hips are tight. You gotta stretch your hips more or just some stretches for your lower back to loosen it up
Make sure to think about engaging your core and squeezing it through the movement. A good cue that may help is when laying flat like a sit up, try to use your core to push your lower back into the ground.
Do the McGill Big 3 for core stability before working on your core and see if that helps. Also, consider trying a mobility routine for a solid month to see if that helps your pain.
Hey, if you havent solved it by now, tilt you pelvis, so your lower back is well rounded. It'll ease out as you go.
Baw dat south Louisiana accent strong lol. 🤙🏼
I randomly found this and I have abs tomorrow
Is dragon flag a solid alternative for the incline leg raise?
"Oh hey, didn't see you there"

Put out some more videos!!!!!!!!!
Had a quick question. Is core something that can be done everyday? Or do you have a schedule u follow?
2-3x / week
Would you train any other part of your body every day for growth?
@@illegitimate0I have train my abs everyday since August and still doing it. Best thing of my life I have done
