Hi Ben, as a product reviewer myself I 100% agree with the tips you've shared. Getting nice B-roll footage is one of the most enjoyable aspects of content creation for me. Good stuff!
The comparisson between b roll and no b roll was actually... really insightful. I found myself just watching the video on the right rather than the left, which makes a ton of sense.
Hi Ben! Should we save our youtube videos before uploading them to youtube. I mean once I edit and merge to make a complete video. After its completed and uploaded to youtube, I usually delete the original files.

The quality will increase a lot if you invest in a prime lens like a 50mm 1.8 it will help give you that blur background look and is a relatively inexpensive lens

My policy is as long as it needs to be but as short as possible It really depends on the product, some reviews can be 5-8 minutes and some are more like 10-12minutes
This is probably the least pedaled interpretation I’ve ever heard. Not sure if it’s because this was a practice run but I loved the way it brought out different characteristics

Good video! But just FYI, your audio is quite hot perhaps ever so slightly clipping? If you open RUclips stats for nerds, you will notice your audio was normalized down to 73% by RUclips which means you are uploading it quite hot. It was actually a bit hard to listen to (with cheap ear buds it was kinda harsh). You might try a rerender/reupload as a private video just to play around with your audio levelling in your editor to prevent youtube from resampling your audio.

I’ll look into it but my vocal audio is between -6 and -3db and my music at it loudest is -12 and while talking -30 so I doubt it’s too loud
