I learned a long time ago to not do business with family or friends. And if I do it has contracts signed with every contingency outlined. Plus I have receipt books that are hand written and signed for all money that changes hands.
I've had family come back after years and say that quilt you made wore through in a few spots. I want my money back. Well you wanted an infant quilt made with your old baby clothing. And you machine washed it and of course after 15 years there might be some squares that wore out. You are not getting the money back. Which only covered the cost of the materials I had to buy 🤦‍♀️ they still don't talk to me but all of my relatives are on my side against this particular relatives as she has done worse to them.

@@JillJaehne I was brought up with my own parents who lived through the depression. They learned (maybe as they gre up to become functional adults) that when you're paying for services, you need something signed, even if it's as simple as pad and paper. If the 'preference' for a modern person is cash, then follow Milian's rule of using crayon and toilet paper. Can't use how you're raised as a defense for zero records.

    • @16MedicRN

@@JillJaehne You didn't set me off ☺️, love! I just responded objectively to the idea that being raised by people who lived during the depression, while there is a preference and understood as to why, these cases ALWAYS end up being a he said/she said, and being raised a certain way isn't an excuse. When you told me 'preference', I understood that. I failed to mention that my mother, specifically, who calculated the finances for our family, at the age of 5 had to kill her own chicken for dinner. My father worked for Gerber baby food in the 1940s. He'd eat baby food inside their trains to survive. Despite that, he knew by his 20s that a receipt must be written and later in life, that a check be signed. I do hear ya, though. It's a matter of preference. But in the law, that isn't any good unless you have a receipt. Can I tell you how wonderful it is that his grandparents have raised him? Guaranteed, he heard life lessons that we are unable to understand in context. Much love to you and your husband 😍🙏😘

      Fun thing about RUclips:
You can actually block channels, disengage with media / people you don't like, and otherwise CHOOSE TO NOT WATCH.
I wonder if people understand that. I legit blocked a channel because at the end of their vid, it had a kinda "joke", I guess, that gave me the creeps as a sex repulsed aroace. I know it was just a way to "ask for subs / likes", and perhaps their sense of humor, but I just couldn't take that sentiment as the image was THERE and I hated it.
Basically what I'm going at is:
Whether or not a reason is "silly", personal, or otherwise it's really your choice to either block and move on or continue to see the vids in your feed. If you don't like JM, basically, block the channel / TPC. Easy.

Judge Milan was so terrible that her contract was renewed for 22 seasons. Her looks and personality kept on for so long. Don't like her style go watch another court tv show. There are plenty of shows to choose from.👀
