have known and loved this piece for the past 83 years. Never have I heard it so beautifully performed.
There is still hope in this world!
I am amazed how they could synchronize all the voices and musical sound together in one stream. I love this performance. I only wish I could hear it live. A+
If you're in the NY area you can hear it live next Monday, March 14 at a benefit concert for the Ukraine.
I'm sure that's something you can get done

I have lost count of how many times I have listened to and watched this video. I love to look at the faces of the singers and musicians. From their expressions I wonder are they feeling the same emotions as I am? Anther thing, I think there should be a name for this sort of video where we see the performers at their homes and see that they are confined like the rest of us but in a real sense, "working from home".
For now, I call them lockdown videos, an ugly term. Since so many are made by French orchestras, there ought to be an elegant French name for them.
How about Zoom Theater, or Théâtre Zoom?

Magnificent! Extraordinary! All these things and holy too. Beautifully done and the fade at the end to the still of the opera company in costume I found so very emotional, like the transition from earth to heaven.

I really miss singing this, my problem is that i am in a choir where we don’t get paid and my mates are kinda lazy, we tried recording ourselves like this and the result was great, but in the videos you can see their apathy, i will start practicing on my own so i can join a better choir where people actually want to practice, i love this song and i love music, i really wish one day i’ll joing a big orchestra like this one, to keep on singing and doing what i love.
