  • This is a rainy-day project of mine. I decided to finally learn how to play You Enjoy Myself, by Phish. I've included the root chords throughout the song as well as some playing & improvisation tips. Let me know what you think in the comments!
    This is one of those iconic songs, it got me into Phish in a big way when I first heard it on Junta and the version on A Live One led to a "click" moment for me with tension & release improvisation.     What were pages organ drawbar settings for this song ?

      Good question - I don't know in any detail, but my guess would be that Page starts out somewhere around 888800000 with "third" percussion on, and then works out the upper drawbars over the course of the solo somewhere closer to 888865444, something like that. It sounds like he usually starts out with that lower percussive tone and works to a fuller sound with the build.
