He did the same in Lommel in de last race of the mxon, fell on lap 1 and started as last rider, was in some laps almost 10 seconds faster than #222 who led the race. I was a spectator at both races, it's insane, he has time to pull a tearoff on the most brutal sandwhoop sections... Everyone else would die doing that 😂
@@jwhitby515 Yup, had to come through the entire field and Cairoli was pretty comfortable in the lead. And Jeffrey had two races without rest in between... There was not enough energy left in the tank to pass Cairoli. Both were riding incredible compared to anyone else there.

there is an interview to Stefan Everts during the race that means everything 😂 I saw Jeffrey in 2014 on Netherlands MXGP, was crazy to see live how he rode on the sand 😮💨
I wish they'd find a way to combine the series between the MXGP and the US Nationals. If they could do 4 races a year, 2 in the States, 2 wherever the MXGP wants, and pay out points according to each series (e.g., if the best American finishes 3rd but ahead of the US riders, he gets 25 points), it would be awesome. Fans would get to see the best of each series, and the field would be stacked with fast.

I raced motocross for 15yrs and I was a great rider with many state championships and a decent amount of contingency earned since its all my dad and sponsors had me race every weekend was contingency. I raced a lot of other fast guys and watched a lot of fast guys but I never saw anyone as fast as Herlings. Only person I can compare to being so dominant was Travis Pastrana (who had the same instructor as I did which was Gary Bayle) when Travis was on 85cc and 125cc. Travis use to let the gate drop and sit there until everyone got half way around the track before he would take off and this was a gate full of great Cernics Suzuki riders like Brandon Jesseman, Gene Stahl, Matt Hill, and others who were some of the best to come out of Cernics in Western Pennsylvania
He rides like Tomac… I think. Ragged, fully pinned and balls out. I’d have to ask Professor Bailey - he dissects techniques and body movement along with psychology.
My very first race, I lapped every rider up to third place" I was riding someone else's bike to boot! My bike blew a head gasket ten minutes before the gate dropped!!! I got the holes hot, then stald on an off camber corner, went from first to last before I could get the bike started again, then I lapped the field to third place...it sucked but it was awesome to!

@@SophiaWorks Tomac beat everyone by 1:30 and that was a full field of pros what they don’t ever mention about the GPS is that at least half the field are local to whatever country they are in for most races. Some races have had less than ten actual factory pro riders at them and that’s recently.

Hell Mitch Payton just had to hire a 35 year old to race one of his bikes lmfao Carson Mumford who was a replacements replacement just injured himself too. If Jeffrey aint scared, hes definately too smart then because Id rather his career racing MXGPs than most of the riders racing SX lmao

Yeah Cairoli kepped him off though! ridiculous how he was able to close up on Cairoli that first few laps but then ran out of steam
