    It would be great to include the firing results in the same video or have a link to it - so one can get a true appreciation of the results. 2-cents thanks.

    The way you just figured Celsius to Fahrenheit in your head blew my American mind. 😂 Even without the math magic, great video!

      For exact temp its
      (C x 1.8) + 32 It's hardly needed but when you come across it it's pretty nifty. For looser calculations it's "close to but less than double" lol

    Love this video. It appears that you thin out your Potters Choice glazes. Mine are so thick to begin with.

  • @micheledickey4066

    I love the way you glaze and your combos. I use a fan to help things dry especially when applying 6 and more layers. May I ask how you got the bubble texture? May I suggest that you shake your glazes or stir them much more also take the glaze that has accumulated on the sides of your jar and incorporate that into your glaze. There is a lot of built up glaze there and it will really change the way your glaze turned out when it’s not all mixed up. The stuff that gets gummy like that on the edges is very pigmented and strong in color becasue there isn’t very much water in it. If you mix it all it will stay much more consistent. I hope that makes sense. Scrape it off at the end of a glazing session and it will have more time to dilute itself in the rest of the jar until you glaze again and really need to stir it. I’m just trying to help you out please don’t take this the wrong way.

    Curious about your process. Is that hand built mug or thrown? Any chance you can do a video on how you apply the bubble texture if it's wheel thrown?

    Thank you so much for this lesson . I was wondering how you add that fabulous bubble texture. Is it a separate slab attached after throwing?

      No it is Handbuilt. I add the texture (from MKM Rollers) to the slab before building it into a mug

    Love seeing your process! I am new to brushed glazes so I have a question about the drip area on the mug. Since it was near the handle was it just the luck of the draw or is there a way to control it … perhaps not bringing the glaze all the way to the bottom in just that area? Have you experimented with this? When you grind off the drips do you use a grinding wheel or handheld tools like diamond core pads?

    • @Dollfacepottery
      @Dollfacepottery  Год назад +1

      I grind using a 80 grit grinding pass on the wheel then I use the small Diamond Core sanding pads, 60 grit, 120, 400 and 800
