What's this? A demo with no rambling, a wide range of examples, *musical* ideas, clear display of the patch UI, plus no begging for me to smash that like button? Well jokes on you my friend I'm gonna smash that like button and then I'm gonna smash that subscribe button whether you like it or not. Yeah.
Dug out my old Touché - I've hardly ever used it. Expressive E have a sale on their software at the moment... was tempted by Imagine but wasn't really taken with the sound examples on their website - they don't really do it justice. Looking around on RUclips, I found your demo. Have to say, it really demonstrates the patches brilliantly - skillfully and expertly played and always with an ear for artistic integrity. Definitely persuaded me to part with the dosh! Brilliant demo 🙂
I knew I could count on you to make a demonstration of this, sounds so awesome 🙌🏼 you already convinced me of getting noisy & I‘m seeing where this is going 🙈
Wow you truly bring out the beauty in whatever you touch, it's so amazing just listening to you. After skipping on noisy for another synth I'm going to have to get this one.
Nice work. Interesting synth. Love that string like patch at 11:00, has some great orchestral type movement. Still awaiting my Osmose but might get this one, has its own flavor and vibe. sub.
Tasty! 3:46 reminds me of the synth pad effect I loved on my Casio around ~2000. What was it called? Pad Synth? Fantasia? Can't remember. Good nostalgic sound here. Love those arpeggios in the first path too - did you program those up?
Enjoyed greatly, tho one year old. Have SE just now, and tough choice whether to grab sale-priced Expressivee software, or use cost to add full Touche' for control of Prophet 5D and Deepmind 12. $169. software takes big bite out of $400. Touche' cost. Welcome capable perspective(s) as software deadline is imminent.
I would like to write about my first experience with Imagine , I am currently working on my album with John Bisaha for Frontiers records and I am mixing and adding some more tracks if needed.. Imagine is really very unique and it really helped me with 2 songs and gave a significant push which was missing.. It's not very CPU friendly but very usable with my Late 2012 MacMini i7 and 16gb ram.. handles much better than the UVI stuff.. I have tons of other synths too but Imagine became my go to instrument when I need a unique sound. I strongly suggest this plugin for people who are bored with the same stuff out there.. This is a one of a kind synth for my taste and experience.. Just go and buy it , you won't regret !

Thank you so much Bill! Great to hear you dug the demo! The Touché is an awesome bit of kit! Hope you're enjoying Imagine!
Muy bien very good..animo con todas las cosas y vayamos todos con alegrías..
Love the 2nd patch you played, the one starting at 8:58, the one at 13:44, and the last patch. Beautifully played.
Thank you Aquatic Borealis! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you beazy300! Appreciate that mate! Yeah, Imagine is a lot of fun!
It's an amazing sound machine, and you play it wonderfully.
Thank you so much Rob! Yes it certainly sounds great!

Cheers Sam, the Osmose looks fantastic!
Sounds epic, Mike!
Cheers Jeff! Yeah I’m digging it man!
Awesome guy
Cheers
Beautiful stuff mate!
Thank you brother!
Even without the expressive function, there are really not many synths out there (out of the billions) which have presets with this much character.
Great playing. Does it have a standalone version or do you need another program to use it?
Thanks! It's a plugin - so just load in your DAW of choice.
Mike - question, which touche are you using the SE or regular and does it require specific parameters setup per instrument?
Hi Sam, I'm using the original version (non SE). If using with "Imagine" it's already set up.
Nice job Mike. What is the control device you are using next to the board?
Thank you Lawrence. That's the "Touché" touch controller from Expressive E.
Sick

Nice man - yeah some great sounds in here! No, those arpeggios are part of the patch but you can definitely edit them.
ok!!! 12:45 is crazy!

Really depends on whether software or hardware control is more important for you going forward I guess!

Glad you’re enjoying Imagine and putting it to good use on your album! It’s certainly quite unique sonically and definitely expressive!
Sounds great and unique for sure! But it seems its hard to find some leads in this synth...
Probably not the focus of this instrument but they are in there!
Is it CPU hungry for late 2012 Mac mini with High Sierra i7 and 16 gb ram ? thanks
Hi Xcarnation - I don't have your setup, however this was running on a 2018 Macbook Pro i7 w 16GB RAM with no issues.
@@MikePensini Thank You for your reply !
Has this mpe control..
No, it doesn’t at this stage
how much is the download size of this vst? it should be described on the system requirement section but there isnt and i cant find any
I think it's around 75 MB. Being physically modelled it's a smaller download than sample-based instruments.
