60 people, that's huge. Rations for how many days? A "Head" (toilet)? You mentioned a compass, so I assume there's propulsion. There appeared to be a holster, for a firearm?
The rations are supposed to last for at least 7 days. There are usually two lifeboats onboard, in addition to the six life rafts that also carry essential survival supplies. In an emergency, all will be launched, that’s if there’s time, so we can use the supplies. The life raft however, is for 30 persons.
While we’re at sea, the lifeboat cannot be taking for maintenance. Heavy Maintenance is done every two-three years, while PM’s are done onboard from time to time. The heavy maintenance is done when the ship is in for drydock.

Very insightful content, thanks bro. My question is, if there happens to be an emergency when the lifeboat is out for maintenance. What happens then?
