It is impossible not to headbang to the one part you all know I'm referring to. This is my favorite band, so its a given for me, but I've even had friends of mine who don't listen to metal whatsoever ask me who it was and tell me they were into it.

The new album is really good, dont care what anyone says. Siren Charms and Battles wasnt thier greatest albums, but I, The Mask is definitely a step back towards their original sound.

Yeah. Jester race or colony or whoracle traces, sure. Wait, wait, no... Nothing like their original sound at all. Still good album for modern IF though.
I thought Sounds of a Playground Fading and Siren Charms were actually awesome. I love Whoracle, Colony, and Cayman obviously, but those two were awesome as well. Give Siren Charms a fresh listen. Its one of the few albums I keep in my car.

I think is by far the best song they put out since ASOP. The riff, the effects, the massive growls of Friden....I've heard it live at Alpen Flair and it was an awesome opener, Anders put his soul to sing this track with a beastly growl
Ever since I heard Take this Life on Guitar Hero I've been obsessed. Each album unique yet still awesome. Thanks for helping me through some crazy b.s. throughout the years In Flames.
Soundtrack to your escape was the album I first heard by these guys and made me fall in love with their sound. This reminds me of that. I love this track.

I'm the fan of In Flames's 90's era.
This song is not even near that period but i love the song. It has elements of their old songwriting tricks. Maybe most likely "Reroute to Remain" and "Sounds Of A Playground Fading".

This was my theory too. Very strong mix of Sounds and Reroute. This album was mastercrafted.
