I enjoyed watching you paint your quick 20 minute study, and it turned out so well. You achieved a very nice composition and I love your colors. Thank you for sharing your adventure.
Well done, you achieved a great study for 20 minutes. It's amazing what you can do when you're against the clock. Working in those harsh conditions too....
Thank you very much, Vera. I really encourage you to try it. It might be a little challenging at first but really rewarding and meditative . Keep creating! You are doing great!
That was a great demo! 😊. Thank you! I love painting plein air in Winter, though my tolerance for cold is dropping as I age. Nowadays I have knit socks on my hands with the little heating pads in them. I push the brush handle through the weave of the sock, (if coarse woven), or through a hole, if tighter woven. That way I have my fingers directly on the brush and retain full dexterity. Also, when I have to use my bare hands, socks come on and off much quicker and easier than mittens or gloves .
I loved watching this. You're so inspiring and you make it look so easy. I've been a fan of your work on FB and am thrilled to see you have a RUclips channel. Looking forward to more demos to watch and learn from. I see from your bio, you are also of Ukrainian descent. No wonder you paint so well! :D
Thank you so much! This was definitely not an easy one;) between painting out in a cold, trying to film and deal with people :) lol. But I love a good challenge. Yes, I am from Ukraine :) Thank you for your kind feedback :)
Thank you very much. I have many different set ups when I paint outdoors, depending how big I want to paint or how far to hike. This one is a u.Go box 6”x8” really compact and light. It is perfect for small panels and when you want to travel light

Thank you very much, Nick. No brushstroke was waisted, that’s for sure :)
@@zheliskoart Yes, I see that. I paint much better outdoors. You need full attention and adrenaline
Beautiful! And all in 20 minutes, wow!

Great demo, Oksana! I enjoy your teaching and encouragement, and am inspired to try plein air too… but not with an audience, lol.
