      Auf jeden Fall! Auch wenn ich kein Wort verstehe , Jp lässt die synths sprechen😁 immer gute Präsentationen. Aber der Kyra ist nicht so meins, liegt vielleicht auch an den Patches..

    I think something is wrong with the CC subtitles? The last episode to have English titles is Hydrasynth video.... which is quite some days old.....?

    The Kyra is a great synth, but it's almost exactly the same price as the new Waldorf Iridium. The Iridium is basically a module version of the Waldorf Quantum for half the price, and features a touch-screen and multiple synthesis types. It's hard to understand why you'd buy a Kyra instead now.

    • @alanwomack9948
      @alanwomack9948 4 года назад +3

      Because its way more powerful than the iridium and quantum. Look at the specs. 128 voice, 8 part Multitimbral, 32bit 96khz, all 8 parts audio over usb in 32bit 96 kHz as well. Iridium is good for experimental synthesis, Kyra is for lush rich hifi 3D synthesis

    • @geoffk777
      @geoffk777 4 года назад

      @@alanwomack9948 I think that the Kyra is a great synth, but I'd still buy an Iridium. Yes, the polyphony and multitimbre is better for the Kyra, but the Iridium is one of the most powerful and versatile synths ever made. You wouldn't go wrong with either one, but i'd choose the Iridium.

    • @alanwomack9948
      @alanwomack9948 4 года назад +1

      @@geoffk777 as far as sheer power, Kyra is probably the most powerful digital synth ever made... iridium is powerful too, but it’s very experimental, it takes more time and work to get a good sound out of it... the possibilities are endless though and i think in the long run it would be very rewarding. But with my Kyra, everything I make sounds good, heavy basses, ambient 3d pads, musical stuff, melodies and arps, its more of a traditional synth in that regard and hard to beat in that instance... as far as experimental weird never heard before sounds, iridium wins

    • @geoffk777
      @geoffk777 4 года назад

      @@alanwomack9948 I'm glad that you're happy with your Kyra. I have a Quantum, and I think it's probably the most powerful synth ever made. So I wouldn't trade it for a Kyra or anything. But everyone is different, and if the Kyra fits your music, than more power to you. Certainly, If I was choosing a new module, Id try the Kyra and Iridium both and make an informed decision based on my personal preferences.

  • @museonfilm8919

    I get that it's powerful in terms of it's features. But it's not really got much in the way of character.
    I've heard better sounds on a Blofeld (check out Arthur Fussy's awesome patches on RUclips)

    Even before Waldorf bought it and repackaged it I really wanted to like this synth, but I feel like other synths (I have) cover nearly the same sonic ground for less money. The knob count and polyphony is pretty great though. Now Iridium,; that's a whole other thing. Can't afford that either, unfortunately.

      The 3D sound is unmatched by any other synth in my opinion, and the digital waves on top of the va oscillators make this one of the most unique sounding synths, they just don’t show that on demos for some reason... even the 128 LFO shapes make for some crazy modulation sounds. By far for me it’s the dual stereo mode and stereo filters and 8 part multi that does it

    I only had this synthesizer for 3 days (its sound was disastrous, dull, very bad effects and overall, at a price of 2000 euros, it was the worst investment. After 3 days, the sound became so disgusting that I returned it to the store). hands passed many iron synthesizers. Waldorf Kira was the worst.
