One of the early episodes ends with this narration "Love means you can't hate someone even if you really want to hate them." This ties in well with how JH feels at this moment. He wants Taek to be a bad-ass so he can hate him and make move on DS, but he can't. JH loves Taek too much to hate him. This can also be explained vice versa, JH wants Taek to become a bad-ass so Taek can make a move on DS. JH knows that Taek took a step back as well. He suspects that Taek saw the picture in the wallet. This is where JH's(and Taek's) biggest dilemma lies. They know exactly how each other feels right now. They are going thru the exact same emotional turmoil. That's why they both steps back without a fight, yielding the way to each other. I absolutely ship every relationship this drama offers, they are all so lovable like fuzzy ball of cotton candy. But my bias of all is most definitely the friendship of JH❤Taek and the brotherhood of SW❤Taek. The depth of their friendship makes me tear up without fail, every time.
i know i know T_T you wish Taek is a bad guy, you can fight DS love without pressure~ bcos its Taek your precious friend you can't hit on DS but but but………….. you both can just confess and let the girl choose~
